German Cucumber Salad
I made this German Cucumber Salad to use with our home grown dill that needed to be picked. You can make this in about 10 minutes and serve it immediately. This creamy, crunchy flavorful dish is a new favorite in our house.

Thaks.
You’re welcome!
That looks so fresh and delish
It definitely was Nisha. I picked the dill fresh from the garden. Thanks so much!
Oh my goodness, that would have made all the difference
Canβt wait to share this my wife and mother in law I think they will go crazy for this! Sounds like a great summer time idea
It is perfect for summer Tony. It looks like we are going to have a large crop of homegrown cucumbers again this year. I will definitely be making it again. Have a great 4th of July!
Our cucumbers didnβt do as hot lol! Thank you and the same to you and yours!
Mizeria often hosts on tables in Poland as an addition to meat. Instead of vinegar, I give lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic and must have dill.
greetings
Another great combination of flavor!
recipe looks heavenly awesome. I love salad so much because eating salad is really very good for health. I hope you will like my post about hotel Taj Princess of New Delhi https://amazingshining.com/best-hotel-deals-in-delhi-hotel-taj-princess/#more-5784
Thanks so much!
I love cucumber dishes!
We grew over 100 cucumbers last year and so far it’s looking good again this year! I can eat them any which way. I wish I could share some with you when then are ready to pick.
Me too because we have only picked one small deformed cucumber and only have two more starting to grow, inspite of tons of booms. π
This sounds perfect for hot summer days!
Oh yes Erica they definitely are! Thanks so much!
Wow, such an easy recipe and it sounds like it would taste amazing. π
Thank you! Cucumbers and dill just go well together.
It looks so easy to make! I love that!
It is at most 10 minutes! Thanks Kristen! β€
sounds interesting. My grandmother used to make a hot German potato salad with hard boiled egg, bacon and vinegar – it was an interesting combination.
Love, love, love German Potato Salad! I don’t put egg in mine but this is my recipe link. http://indianeskitchen.com/2017/05/19/german-potato-salad
Thanks Diane. My mother still makes this occasionally, I’ll have to compare it to her recipe.
My mom used to make this using sour cream – it was a family favorite too.
It was so good! My husband always used Miracle Whip. Sour cream is so much better with this!
Yes that was it for us, and not a fat-free or low-fat version either.
Yum,this sounds delicious.
It was very good. I don’t know what it is about the cucumber and dill that go so well together! Thank you Chris!
Looks so beautiful & delicious!
Megala it has just a hint of cream sauce with delicious dill. I loved how they tasted. Thank you for always being so supportive!
I love cucumbers and eat them almost everyday, a great salad, I could also add another love of mine avocado.
Thank you.
We found this especially delicious and unlike our traditional cucumber salad. Our garden cucumber plants are full of flowers so hoping for another good crop this year. I bet avocados would go great with this!
This recipe looks delicious! What type of vinegar did you use? Thanks!
Thank you Cecilia! I used apple cider vinegar.
Thank you!
Youβre welcome.
One of my favorites!
We used to use only Miracle Whip, milk, salt and pepper. Then I made this recipe, so good.
For a creeping vine plant, the cucumber provides us with some tasty treats! I am going to try this recipe since my husband loves dill.
Enjoy we really love this! π
Great summer recipe, Diane! Printing now, making later. Thank you!
Thank you, I love that they are ready immediately and still crunchy.
I am going to try this! Of course, I now have to wait and wait for my cukes to come along. Hopefully, they will be here before frost time! My garden is very late this year.
Good luck, I hope they come too!
Made it tonight. Yum! I tried your other cucumber salad with vinegar and sugar, tomatoes, etc. I added some chopped onions to this one, too. Thanks.
Iβm so glad you liked it Katelon. Thanks for letting me know!
