Shrimp Scampi & Pasta
Delicious shrimp sautéed in butter with a great combination of herbs and served with pasta. The pasta has a nice subtle flavor with parmesan cheese added instead of being smothered in sauce. We love shrimp so I added a full pound to this delicious meal, minus the two shrimp I had to taste test.
Ingredients
Cook the pasta according to the
package directions, drain and
return pasta to the hot pan.
In a large frying pan, melt the butter
and add the red pepper flakes, Italian
seasoning, garlic powder, salt and parsley.
Rinse the shrimp and pat them
dry with a paper towel.
Add the shrimp to the pan and cook them
2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink.
Add the shrimp and butter
mixture to the pasta in the pan.
Toss together until butter and
herbs coat all of the pasta.
Add the parmesan cheese and toss
until completely mixed into the pasta.
Place on a plate and serve immediately.

Oh definitely for me too! I use to buy shrimp that was already cooked and frozen, never again. It took me years to buy fresh uncooked shrimp and there is no better taste! Only way I buy shrimp now.
Yes! It really makes a difference! Also where the seafood comes from! 😊
Unfortunately I don’t get a good choice of where it comes from.
Me neither 😝
Thank you!
