Parmesan & Asiago Cheese Chicken
If you love chicken and cheese, you have to make this Parmesan & Asiago Cheese Chicken! What a great combination of cheese! The chicken crust is made with Parmesan Cheese that turns a golden brown and the Asiago Cheese is melted on top. If you want to, you can even add crumbled bacon to the top of each piece before serving.

Ingredients – Pound your chicken so it is all the same thickness.
In a shallow bowl, use a fork and whisk the egg and water together.
In another shallow bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, pepper, salt and garlic powder.
Dip the chicken into the egg mixture.
Immediately place the chicken into the cheese mixture.
In a large frying pan over medium-high heat with about 1/2″ of oil,
cook the chicken until golden brown but not cooked through.
Cover a baking sheet with foil. Place a rack on top of the foil.
Place the browned chicken pieces on the rack.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree for about 20 minutes until juices run clear.
Remove from the oven and place the Asiago Cheese on top of each piece.
Turn oven to broil and place the chicken
under the broiler until the cheese is melted.

Ingredients
- 4 medium chicken breasts, boneless and skinless pounded to all the same thickness
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 cup shredded Asiago cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 3-4 slices of bacon (cooked & crumbled) – optional
- oil for frying
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg and water together.
- In another small bowl, mix the parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Pour 1/2″ oil into a large frying pan and heat over medium-high heat.
- Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture and then the Parmesan cheese mixture.
- Fry the chicken until it is golden brown but not cooked completely through.
- Cover a baking sheet with foil and place a rack on top.
- Place the browned chicken on top of the rack and bake for about 20 minutes or until the juices run clear.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and turn the oven to broil.
- Sprinkle the Asiago Cheese on top of all of the chicken.
- Broil until the cheese melts then serve.
