Creamy Parmesan Italian Dressing

My husband eats a lot of salads. I like experimenting with different salad dressings for him to try. I used my recipe for homemade mayonnaise (recipe under condiments) to made this Creamy Parmesan Italian Dressing. You can use store bought mayonnaise if you want too. I like that this doesn’t make a large amount of salad dressing which means it stays fresh.

Simple ingredients that you probably already have in your cupboard.

Mix all of the ingredients together in a blender or use an immersion blender.

Refrigerate until ready to use and refrigerate the leftovers.

Creamy Parmesan Italian Dressing

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp clear corn syrup or honey
  • 4 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp parsley
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

  1. Mix all of the ingredients with a blender or immersion blender.
  2. Shake before using.
  3. Keep refrigerated until ready to use and refrigerate any leftovers.

  1. We used to go to a restaurant here that had the best creamy Parmesan dressing – then they closed up. I’ve been trying to duplicate it ever since – so this is printed out and I’ll give it a go!

  2. Sounds good, but definitely with honey, not corn syrup. I have a thing about corn syrup and read all labels to make sure there isn’t any in anything I buy. That’s since reading a book called, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle. It’s a great book, and one that had me researching the perils of corn syrup.
