Taco Pizza
We love Taco Salad so I thought I would create a Taco Pizza. It turned out better than I could have imagined! Pizza crust topped with taco seasoned hamburger and cheese then baked in the oven. When it comes out of the oven add lettuce, tomato and taco sauce…..so good!
Ingredients
In a large fry pan over medium heat,
cook ground beef until it is no longer pink.
Add the dehydrated onion to the
tomato sauce, stir and set aside.
In a small bowl combine water,
taco seasoning and taco sauce.
Pour the water mixture into
the cooked ground beef.
Simmer until most of the liquid is absorbed.
Remove from the heat and pour the tomato sauce
with onions into the ground beef stirring to combine.
Spray a pizza pan with cooking spray.
Place pizza dough on the pan forming it to the edges
and making a slight lip with the dough at the edge.
Bake in a 400 degree preheated oven for 8 minutes.
Remove from the oven.
Place all of the ground beef mixture on the pizza crust.
Place all of the cheese on top.
Bake another 6-10 minutes or until the
crust is golden brown and the cheese melts.
Let the pizza cool for a few minutes and then
add the lettuce and top it off with the tomatoes.
Slice and add taco sauce, optional.
