Italian Salad Dressing Mix


You will not want to buy Dry Italian Salad Dressing Mix from the store again after tasting this. It is so cheap, quick and easy to make. It makes an entire bowl of the dry mix so you will get multiple servings from this one recipe. Don’t just use it for salad dressing, put it on chicken or vegetables as a marinade for great tasting food.

Italian Salad Dressing Mix




  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 2 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 Tbsp. dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. celery seed
  • 2 Tbsp. salt


  • 2 Tbsp. of the dry mix from above (shake before measuring)
  • 1/4 cup vinegar, white or apple cider
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 2 Tbsp. water


  1. In a small bowl, combine all of the dry mix ingredients and set aside.
  2. In a jar with a lid add 2 Tbsp. of the dry mix, vinegar, oil and water.
  3. Shake well until combined and before serving.
