Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs
Juicy, tender, delicious, in its own gravy and perfectly Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs are always a must in our house! The flavor that is in these moist, fork tender Chicken Thighs is amazing. I am using my Ninja 3 in 1 cooker. I was able to prepare and cook this chicken all in one pot. I started by using it on the stove top setting to melt my bacon grease (or you can use oil). I browned the chicken and cooked the onion in it too. Then I switched the setting to slow cook and finished cooking the Chicken Thighs!
First combine the seasonings and sprinkle over them on both sides of the Chicken Thighs.
Lightly flour the Chicken Thighs on top of the seasonings.
Place the chicken in a large hot frying pan with bacon grease or oil. Brown both sides of your Chicken Thighs until golden brown. Remove the Chicken Thighs to a plate and set aside. They already look amazing!
Place the onions in the same pan and cook until translucent, remove from the heat.
Mix the gravy, soup and water together and pour 1/3 of the mixture into the bottom of the slow cooker.
Place the chicken in the slow cooker and pour the rest of the soup and gravy mixture over the top of the Chicken Thighs.
Place the cooked onions on top of the Chicken Thighs.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Remember not to remove the lid. Every time you do will add 15 minutes to the cooking time.
