Kid Friendly Noodles With Ground Beef Recipe

An easy kid or adult meal you cook on the stovetop. Ready in 30 minutes or less with noodles, ground beef, seasoning and a sauce that everyone will love.

Boil pasta according to the package directions.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until no pink remains. Drain any grease then add the garlic and cook for 1 minute more.

Add the salt, pepper and paprika and stir well.

Add the beef broth, parsley and mushrooms (optional). My husband doesn’t like mushrooms so I left them out. Stir and bring to a boil.

Reduce to a simmer, uncovered, and simmer about 3 minutes.

Gradually whisk in the flour until no lumps remain. Stir in the half-n-half until hot and bubbly.

Drain the pasta thoroughly.

Add the pasta to the ground beef mixture and toss gently to coat all of the pasta. Continue to cook just until hot then serve.

kids love noodles
So do the big kids! Lol
my fav food, pasta of any kind
Good for invalids, too. Shame about the mushrooms
I know, I love mushrooms too. We compliment each other because I can’t stand green pepper and he loves them. I don’t fix mushrooms or green pepper as a compromise. Occasionally we just wing supper and we both put them in our own meals. The things we do for love! 😃
Thank you for reblogging this.
We had a pasta dish last night that’s very similar to your recipe (our dish had mushrooms in). It’s the fastest and tastiest dish to make on a weeknight when no one really feels like cooking!
I wish I could put mushrooms in my food. My husband really hates the way they taste. I can eat them raw, cooked, marinated you name it! I make a ramen noodle recipe that is loaded with mushrooms. That is my go to when I am hungry for them.
A great school night recipe. Have a great weekend Diane.
Thank you Bernadette!
This looks yumm Diane! This made me crave for pasta!
Thank you Kris!
looks good.
Thank you Susanne!
I don’t know a kid who doesn’t love noodles of all sorts!
Even the grown up kids! Lol
This looks and sounds very good! I am definitely going to try this!
It was very good and if you love a stroganoff throw in a little sour cream. Thank you
I used to make Budget Beef Strogonoff that was similar to that. Yours sounds good and is healthier because it doesn’t use canned cream of mushroom soup. Mine had sour cream mixed in at the end.
This could be a stroganoff dish if you added sour cream. I love sour cream but not in my noodle dishes. I have a bad habit of using canned soup so this was a nice change. Thank you Linda!
This looks delicious and hearty, Diane. I would gladly eat it even though I’m a big kid!
Thank you Ab and it didn’t stop us from eating it too!
The kids have moved back home, or I would have made this tonight. I’ll keep it in my back pocket, Diane.
Sounds like a plan Carla! Thank you
That looks good, like stroganoff. Now I am hungry for stroganoff. 🙂
Just add sour cream to this and you have stroganoff! Thank you Linda!
A perfect recipe as we enter into the fall! I can almost smell it! Yum! 💕C
Thank you Cheryl!
