Did I ever tell you I was a huge Ohio State football fan? They’re the Ohio State Buckeyes, and I was laughing when I saw you post that buckeye recipe..lol you from Ohio aren’t you?
No I didnβt know that Frank. Yes Iβm from Ohio and we just saw the game against Michigan was cancelled because so many Michigan players have Covid! π©
Oh, I know that sucks! The Michigan/Ohio State game IS college football! lol Oh well, I guess there are more important things going on. If I don’t speak to you, have a warm loving holiday season. ππ
Thank you Frank and you too! β€οΈ
Diane, next to shortbread cookies, snicker doodle cookies are my all time favorite cookie to make an to eat!!ππ I made a batch two weeks ago.

Hi Diane, I found “all purpose gluten-free flour.” I make chocolate chip cookies with this gluten-free flour. The cookies turned out perfect.
I will try a different cookie with this flour next week.
How wonderful Georgetta!!!!
Great! I think we all could use good Christmas (not Xmas) cookies about now,
Oh yes these are great every… I mean any day! Haha

I LOVE snickerdoodle cookies!
Me too Erica! Whoever thought up this one is a genius! Lol
Snickerdoodles are in my top three! They’re fantastic cookies. π
I agree!!! I couldn’t go a Christmas without making them.
There was a fellow in our office last year who kept us supplied in Snickerdoodles. Sadly, he’s left the company, so maybe I should continue the tradition with your delicious recipe…
Well that would have made it worth going to work every day! That would be a great way to carry on the tradition.
Maybe it’s the effect of those cookies being so large in the picture, but it just feels tortuous that they aren’t actually in front of me right. now! π
Hahaha they really are that large. I use an ice cream scoop! Thanks!
Fabulous!
They look so perfect just like the bakery ones!
Awe thank you! I sold a lot f these at my craft tent way back when.
I was never around to smell them baking as I would be at school or at work, but the smell when you opened the Tupperware container was just heavenly! I can shut my eyes and remember after seeing these cookies.
Your mom was smart, she made them while you were at school so you didnβt get into them warm….lol
I asked the grandkids what kind is their favorite so I can be sure and make them and my grandson said chocolate chip. The next day he asked me where were all HIS chocolate chip cookies. He thought I was making them all just for him! π€£
You get a laugh from your grandkids Diane … HIS chocolate chip cookies. LOL My mom used to make candy-cane cookies when I was a kid. There were two little rolls of dough for each cookie – red and the regular color of dough, and you twisted them together. So my mom had a turquoise Melamac mixing bowl – still have it. It has a big red stain in it from the red dye – every time she used the bowl, she’d remind me about “your cookies stained my brand-new bowl!” I offered to buy her a new one … she said “no, I just remember making them for my baby that way.”
Awe sweet memories Linda! I love the candy cane cookies.
Me too Diane – yes, they are really sweet memories, both the cookies and the thoughts!
Love the word ‘Sickerdoodle’!
I always wonder where they come up with some of these names..lol
Thanks for sharing! Hope you and your hubby have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year! π
Thank you so much and your family as well!
Thanks so much!
Yes, I will now be able to enjoy what I like the most “homemade cookies!”
Awe Iβm so glad. Merry Christmas Georgetta!
Right there with you! These look amazing!
