My Mother used to do this with Cream of Wheat cereal! It is good and different. Mom was about changing things up!
I loved Cream of Wheats as a kid! I think I will buy some! Thanks!
Wow. This looks really good!!

Looks yummo! I’ll try anything ONCE! (if I like it, I’ll try it agsin….)
Same here! My husband always tells me “It’s a keeper” or it’s good but I don’t want it again…hmmmm I think that’s the polite way of saying he didn’t like it….hahaha
great idea for a change from the regular oatmeal.
Yet is is just Oatmeal fried in a little butter. Amazing how it changes it! Thanks!

Thank you Diane!
Well, that’s a good idea!
It was a nice change, thanks!
Wow, I never would have thought about frying oatmeal! I’m sure it must taste delicious though. Everything is better fried!
It has nothing else added to it other than frying in a little butter. It tasted the same on the inside with a hint of butter in the crust. When I make it next time I will leave the syrup off and try adding a little brown sugar to the oatmeal instead to see what that is like.
Sounds so nice! I love oatmeal and don’t eat it as much as I should.
This looks yum. Sounda interesting!
Wow, a healthy breakfast indeed!✌️😃❤

I love oatmeal, and this recipe looks and sounds extra delicious, I shall try it soon!
That’s a new one on me – I eat oatmeal 365 days a year.
All it is is oatmeal with a little butter to brown it in. Just a nice different texture.
Fellow blogger AJ told me to try mixing peanut butter in my oatmeal – I never tried that before. OMG – very good and the big jar of peanut butter is suddenly nearly empty!
I would never have thought of that. Yet I put peanut butter and oatmeal in my No Bake Cookies…lol Thanks for the great idea!!!
You’re welcome Diane – I love the extra crunchy texture.
Cool. I can pretend I am eating oatmeal raisin cookies–one of my serious weaknesses–for breakfast.
Hahahahaha good one Matt!
This sounds INCREDIBLE!
Nice change and very good! Thank you!
