Three Cheese Noodle Casserole
Cheesy, cheesy, cheesy! What a great combination of ground beef, noodles and lots of cheese! Ground beef mixed with your favorite spaghetti sauce. Noodles mixed with butter, parmesan cheese and garlic. Top all that off with two more kinds of cheese! Even though this has spaghetti sauce in it, once it bakes it tastes totally different. I can’t begin to tell you how delicious this turned out. My 4 year old grandson ate two bowls! This was a huge hit with everyone!
Ingredients
In a large frying pan over medium heat, cook
the onion and ground beef discarding the grease.
Add the spaghetti sauce and
simmer with a lid for 20 minutes.
In a large pot cook the noodles
according to the package directions.
Drain and return the noodles to the hot pan.
In a small bowl, melt the butter then add
the parmesan cheese and garlic powder.
Toss the noodles and the butter mixture together.
Using cooking oil, spray a large casserole dish.
Place half of the ground beef
mixture on the bottom.
Place half of the noodle mixture on
top of the ground beef mixture.
Repeat with the last half of the
Ground beef and noodle mixtures.
Top with the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
Cover the dish with foil making sure there
is a gap so the cheese doesn’t stick to the foil.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree
oven for 45 minutes.
Use a large spoon to scoop out and serve.

What a great idea! You won’t notice any difference in taste because of the spaghetti sauce mixed in with it.

I was so pleased with the way this turned out. So many flavors that all came together! Thanks so much!
Who cannot love cheese and noodles and tomato … reminds me of Beefaroni. 🙂
You are so right! Seriously, my grandkids went nuts over this as did my husband and myself!
I think that is why Hamburger Helper has always had a big following – a lot of their dinners remind us of what we ate as kids, especially meals made with ground beef. My mom always made Beefaroni or Stroganoff what I was a kid, so I grew up on it.
Ohhh… Super-yummy 😄
Yes, yes, yes… 😍
Ciao
Sid

Short Order Cook is spelled…GRANDMA! Sounds like you have it mastered!
HAHAHAHA I love that comment! Thank you!
This is one of those things that only grandma can make. That’s why her house always smells so good!
Hahaha that’s because grandma’s actual cook. When they go home it’s processed food and pizza! My mom always cooked when I grew up. Our idea of eating out was a TV dinner occasionally….lol
Looks so good!
Thank you Christy!
I need to start a Pinterest board that’s titled “Diane’s AMAZING Recipes!” YUM!!
