Caesar Salad with Dressing
Why is it they charge so much for a Caesar Salad when they are this easy to make! I made my Caesar Salad Dressing without the anchovies because my husband doesn’t like them but I’m telling you, don’t leave them out! Even if you don’t like them, they add that certain flavor that is what makes a Caesar Salad a Caesar Salad!

Thank you, Diane! I will keep this recipe, to make when I get back to AZ.
You are welcome! Safe travels!
Caesar Salad is my all-time favorite. Thanks for the great share.
You’re welcome Rosemarie! It is one of our favorites as well. We don’t eat out much but when we do we always order it!
Yummy! 😋
Thanks Christy!
I will have to try this. My grandchildren love Caesar salad.
Wow I never thought about having my grandchildren try it. All they ever eat is Ranch! I will have to see what they think.
Great!
Thank you!
You can actually make it without mayo (despise the stuff). I make this with a very similar recipe, but mayo is never added because it’s not really needed (imo).
Interesting! I do make my own mayonnaise from scratch. Do you substitute it with something else or just leave it out?
Just leave it out. Many caesar dressing recipes don’t use it. I avoid mayo like the plague.
Thanks!
Def a winner. 🌿🌱🍃
Thanks!
I’ve got to try this, looks great!
About the anchovies..I just read in “Bon Appetit” magazine, “there are two kinds of people: those who love anchovies and those who don’t (but really should).
I’ve always thought them to be not that appetizing, but am coming around and can see the value of a tiny addition of them after reading that article and this recipe!
When I eat Caesar Salad in restaurants made with anchovies I love the salad. We do not eat them alone but in this salad they are amazing! Thanks for the input about the article, I will have to check it out!
Yummy!
Thanks!
Love this salad and recipe !!!
Thank you! Caesar Salad is so good!
Just did it today – thank you ! It’s all gone 😉
Wonderful glad you enjoyed it! Now I want more….lol
Love Caesar salad but haven’t had it in ages due to the romaine lettuce issue.
They actually had a sign out stating it was OK…lol It must have been we are healthy! The things I do for a blog!
This sounds really nice – An all-year-round kind of salad.
Yes we even order it at restaurants. Thank you!
Great recipe! I’ve never thought of using Dijon mustard. Thanks 😋
