White Russian Cocktail

A White Russian Cocktail is made with Kahlua. Kahlua has rum in it along with coffee. What I love about this drink is you can add vodka or leave it out and it still tastes great. You don’t have to be a bartender to make this cocktail!

  1. Isn’t a White Russian Cocktail made with vodka? According to Love To Know they say The white Russian cocktail expands the Black Russian recipe with the addition of heavy cream. Be sure to use heavy cream because the fat content keeps the vodka from curdling the dairy.

    Ingredients

    Ice
    2 ounces vodka
    1 ounce Kahlúa
    1 ounce heavy cream
    Instructions

Add ice to a rocks glass.
Add the vodka and Kahlúa. Stir.
    Top with the heavy cream.

And they mention the Kalua to use in a White Russian is plain kalua which is made of dark coffee and butter among other ingredients.

      • Apologies. I wasn’t trying to say you were wrong. Just wanted to express what I knew about it. My grandfather was German but he love White Russians. My parents like Mia Tias (not sure if spelling it right) My wife loved mimosas. And a cocktail I found at Eureka’s I like is a Wild Child – made of, vodka, watermelon, mint, lemon, aloe, rosé, and habanero salt.

      • Oh please don’t feel bad Randy I’m just not a big drinking and tend to make my drinks with little alcohol. I probably should have titled the post White Russian My Way. Lol

  2. Happy days. Living just 45 miles from Russian border anything Russian we avoid . They all all white Russians and the greatest threat to civil law and peace ever known to man
