Oven Baked French Fries
Do you love French Fries but hate all the grease when you fry them? Why not make Oven Baked French Fries that are not only simple to make but taste great too. It doesn’t get any easier than this. You can even season them differently every time you make them for a different taste. I used salt & pepper on them today but I also love using Old Bay, Lawry’s Seasoned Salt, different herbs etc. so don’t be afraid to try different seasonings.
I like to prepare my potatoes ahead of time.
I peel and cut them into fries and put them into a bowl of cold
water making sure they are all submerged so they don’t turn brown.
I refrigerate them until I’m ready to bake them later in the day.
Spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
Drain the fries and place them on a paper towel.
Pat them dry with more paper towel.
Place the fries onto the sprayed baking sheet.
Use the cooking spray and spray the fries.
Season with salt and pepper or whatever seasonings you want to use.
Bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for 40 minutes or
until they start to brown and are tender then serve immediately.
Cooking time will depend on the thickness of your fries.
