Air Fryer Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich

Crunchy on the outside, warm and gooey on the inside. Have you ever put peanut butter on your hot toast, and it starts to melt? That has always been a favorite of mine but then again, I love a good peanut butter and jelly sandwich as well.

I had some Uncrustable’s in the freezer and I wondered what it would be like if I put one in the air fryer and it turned out delicious and so does a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that you make yourself.

Thaw the Uncrustable or make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

In the microwave melt 2 Tbsp of butter in a small bowl.

Brush the butter all over both sides of the bread.

Place the sandwich in the air fryer at 390º for 4 minutes. Turn sandwich over and continue to air fry until golden brown, checking every minute. Remove when both sides are a golden brown.

Then Serve it warm.

  1. Ooo… this sounds good. We do like PBJ’s and eat them every so often. I wonder if this would work with brioche bread? That’s the bread we usually use. Thanks for the recipe!

    • Yes! We bought the pie irons and make them in our back yard campfires. You gave me a great idea Carla! We love pie filling in ours, I will have to try them in the air fryer! Thank you!!!!

  2. I was very surprised that our neighbours on our camping holiday had an air fryer in their tent … while I don’t even have one at home 😜. I’m definitely going to forward your recipe to her – she dished up wonderful food to her family with the air fryer!

    • Awe that’s not camping! When I camped I was like you guys, cooked over the fire or a camping stove. That’s the best part of camping is the taste and aroma from the fire/food. Don’t get me wrong, you know how much I love my air fryer just not for camping. I’m sure with all the rain the fire would be hard to maintain though. I fell in love with this PB&J sandwich, I bet they will love it too.
