It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 7-7-23

It’s Blueberry season and I just finished day two of picking my blueberries. This recipe is more like a cake so I like to have it for dessert.

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.

If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.

NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.

I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

My “It’s Friday What’s For Dinner” in the picture above is BLUEBERRY LOAF CAKE. To see my step by step directions with pictures and a printable recipe card click HERE.

I usually don’t cook on Fridays but tonight, I’m making air fryer chicken thighs. 🙂

    Have a nice weekend!

  3. Oh Diane, this looks wonderful. We are traveling to Michigan soon where I hope to pick fresh blueberries. I will make this when I get back home. Yum!

    • I am picking so many blueberries this year again. Today I was supposed to pick them and it has rained all day. I hope they don’t go bad as I Love to freeze them for the winter baking. Thank you Mary ❤️

  4. Gooseberry, strawberry, rhubarb pie. It is delicious, but despite my husband using a lot of cornstarch, it has a lot of liquid. We don’t know where it could all come from! We grew the gooseberries and rhubarb.

    • I have never had gooseberries. I always make my strawberry-rhubarb pie a day ahead of time and it really helps with the juices when it sits overnight without cutting it. I also use 1/2 cup of all purpose flour instead of cornstarch. Hope this helps Linda.
