It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 04-07-23

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.

If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.

NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.

I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

My “It’s Friday What’s For Dinner” in the picture above is AIR FRYER BRUSSELS SPROUTS.

  1. Today is Good Friday, only two days before Easter.
    Tonight is pasta primavera…
Sauté some garlic in good EVOO
Add some vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and onion and sweat that down for a bit. Add 1/2 cup white wine and simmer.
Boil some good macaroni, spaghetti, fettuccini…
When done, add the vegetables to the strained macaroni and let it sit for a few minutes.
Enjoy with a nice glass of white wine and good, crusty Italian bread.
    Delizioso!

  2. I don’t get to respond to this weekly post often cuz we do takeouts on Fridays but I’m making a chicken noodle dish today! 🙂

  3. I cook in boiling salted water and then toss into oven tray with roast mean to bake caramel taste . Love them any way but this way is best for me

  4. I know they are good for you and easy in the air fryer. I don’t think I’ve had Brussels Sprouts since my father left. He had a few favorite items that my mom made for him so we ate them too – this was one, chicken livers was another. And pickled herring (that she bought – it came in a jar). We didn’t fight him for that!

      • Agreed! The one thing my father liked that we liked was potato pancakes … he’d grate the potatoes and take the electric frying pan outside and cook them there so they didn’t smell up the house of grease for days afterward (no hood over the stove).
