It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 02-10-23

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe that you prepared in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.

If someone wants your recipe and asks there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links, but only to the recipe and NO VIDEO. It may take me a day to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam.

NO SPAM OR VIDEOS WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.

I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

My “It’s Friday What’s For Dinner” in the picture above is CHEESY CHICKEN NOODLE CASSEROLE. This is delicious with broccoli added to it too!

  1. That’s it! The scales have tipped up a little too far. My Wranglers getting a bit too tight and I refuse to buy a bigger size. (In truth, I refuse to buy anything unless really pushed.)
Tonight, grilled chicken breast salad, with romaine, arugula, tomatoes and avocados. .A nice olive oil and balsamic dressing with some shaved Romano cheese.
That’s fine for dinner. We’ll see what happens at about eight o’clock when I’m starving.

  2. Hi Di,
we had a bag of coleslaw shredded cabbage – but rather than make slaw – – I cooked it in a pam with butter and herbs and added red meat – was so goo d

  3. I could be a casserole queen and never be bored – anything with noodles and cheese and yes, even with your personal favorite, broccoli (but you forgot the bacon). 🙂

    • hahaha You and me too Linda. I hate making all the sides so they get done the same time as the meat. I could make casseroles every day. However, today I made air fried hot Italian sausage, mashed potatoes and corn and it tasted amazing.

      • That sounds good too Diane. I did a crockpot meal and put it in at 7:30 a.m. – well, I wanted to beat the freezing rain and wind which I did. No power here since 9:30 and it went out 5 times before going totally out. First time to use the instant-on generator. I’m a little nervous as there is lots of ice on the wires and we have 350,000 power outages. The furnace kept going off/on as did the fridge … worrisome.
