Do you know the secret to making tender and never-dense muffins?
Stir the batter quickly and only enough to dampen the flour. The batter should look lumpy and never smooth.

I just made blueberry muffins with leftover blueberries this weekend. I haven’t made muffins in a long time and my batter was not lumpy enough. Good advice!

Yes that’s true, although I let my husband make the pancakes. I just tell him I don’t make them as good as he does, just like I can’t cook on the grill as good as he does. It works every time. 🤣😂🤣 Thank you for the reminder. 💕
Tips just in time for pumpkin spice muffins. See, who needs the donuts from the cider mill anyway. Our Franklin Cider Mill raised their apple cider to $14.00 a gallon which was a $2.00 increase from 2021. People are griping about in on social media. That’s regular apple cider they press from a variety of apples, not cider from specialty apples like Honeycrisp. Crazy!
WHAT!!!!! $14.00 a gallon???? That is unbelievable Linda. I am so tired of people price gouging. As soon as we stop buying their products they will lower the price.
Oh, I agree with you Diane. On top of it, the owner was interviewed and said Michigan saw its best apple crops in years – I hope people don’t buy it!
