  1. Sounds yummy and it seems the muffins would turn out crunchier than usual. I wonder if chopped apples on top would cook enough to be good on top?

    • They were very crunchy which is why we loved them. They didn’t taste like regular muffins at all. I’m not sure but the apples may dry out, especially when you broil the muffins, but give it a try and let me know.

  2. Oh, what a bummer … I have everything in the kitchen, except for those English Muffins 😬. Maybe I’ll buy some tomorrow – this looks like something we’ll certainly enjoy!

  3. Looks delicious! Cinnamon is an ingredient and flavour I’ve only come to enjoy in more recent years. Will have to try this one out.

    • Thanks! Where have you been all your life? 😂 I grew up with cinnamon sugar toast. Now my grandkids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch and I could eat that right out of the box!

    • Thank you for telling me! Adjust the sugar to your taste as well as the cinnamon. My husband wanted more sugar and my granddaughter wanted more cinnamon. Lol That’s what’s nice about these, everyone can adjust them both to their own taste.

  4. I love this idea Diane and I grew up eating hot buttered toast with cinnamon and brown sugar sprinkled on it – have not had that in years.
