It’s Friday What’s For Dinner 4-29-22

Anyone that makes a homemade dinner is welcome to type the name of one recipe prepared, in the comments, then we can all scroll through the comments for recipe ideas. This will be a weekly Friday post and only recipes on the Friday posts will be allowed.

If someone wants your recipe and asks, there will be no pressure to share it, it’s up to you. I will accept links only to the recipe, however, it may take me a few days to approve it so I can make sure the link is legitimate and not spam. NO SPAM WILL BE ALLOWED, ONLY RECIPES OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.

I find the hardest part of making dinner isn’t the process, but figuring out what to make. So go ahead and post ONE RECIPE ONLY EACH FRIDAY in the comments or feel free to just read what others have made. Either way, I hope we all get some great ideas to make our meal planning easier.

I will not be commenting on the ”It’s Friday What’s For Dinner” posts as this is your recipes to share with everyone.

  1. Lovely .I am at last building a brick oven in gardens for party use with friends . I have designed it as Spanish style and oven to hold 870 all day once reaching that heat fire is removed and can bake cook and later bread on falling heat at 9pm at night for breakfast with friends. That means having rooms to hold them over night .Working on that one now.

  2. I’m having the last slice of the mushroom, Parmesan cheese quiche I made a few days ago. I also added green onions and some bacon to it.

  3. Here’s a very easy staple…
    Pasta primavera
Good pasta like spaghetti, linguini or something different like farfalle (bowties)
Carrots, broccoli, onions and peas (optional.), onion
Brown some garlic in olive oil
Slice the onion and add. Let that sweat down a bit.
Boil the pasta al dente and save a little of the water
Add the vegetables into the garlic and oil and cover. Cook until tender.
Add about a cup of the pasta water to the veggies and let that boil, uncovered. That will be your sauce.
Drain the pasta and pour the veggies over it and mix well. Let that sit in the pot for a while.
Serve with plenty of good parmesan cheese and a nice pinot grigio.

  4. I did a simple Italian sausage bake in the oven.

Put three whole sausages on a parchment paper with thin slits sliced on each. Then tossed sliced carrots, onions and carrots all around drizzled on olive oil. A bit of salt and coarse pepper and baked in 350 for 30 minutes. Simple, light, carb free and yum!
