Easter Treats
Bake homemade Chocolate Cake, frost it with One Bowl Chocolate Frosting then let the kids decorate the top for your Easter dinner dessert. Use whatever Easter candy they want, I used pastel M & M’s and marshmallow Peeps.
Another simple Easter Cake is this round frosted cake, topped with candy eggs and colored coconut with marshmallow Peeps placed around the side.
Deviled eggs are always a hit for Easter dinner. Make yours by coloring the cooked white part of the egg then fill it with the egg filling.

I’m trying to make Easter treats before Easter this year. I am having my second carpal tunnel surgery and it is only a few days before Easter so I won’t be cooking this year. My poor husband is stuck with cooking and helping to color the eggs and hiding 60 eggs for the outside egg hunt. I already filled them with small toys and I will have the baskets all made up but he is also stuck with making us dinner and doing dishes. The grandkids will be happy with frozen pizza🤣

The colors make us so excited for warm weather here. I have about 60 plastic eggs filled for the outside egg hunt, they can’t wait!

Haha nice try but I’m having hand surgery a few days before Easter and I’m not cooking. Making all the goodies early so we can still enjoy some.

Thank you Linda next up are the chocolate covered chow mein noodles in the shape of a birds nest then filled with jelly beans. It will be the first time making them so I hope they turn out.
My mom and I made these for the girls at work as a holiday treat. The recipe was in the Land O’ Lakes cookbook and they turned out well. People loved how cute they were and they were very sturdy as well. How Spring-y and festive for Easter.
Trying to make things for the family before surgery, my hubby loved these the most which surprised me.
I know the surgery is coming up before Easter – I am behind about 3 days in Reader right now but I saw the post about the nests and peeked at it … they are chocolate nests which is very nice. Ours were just plain chow main noodles held together by marshmallows … not as fancy as you. 🙂
