Air Fryer Dinner Rolls

Can you believe it? I made these in my Ninja Foodi Air Fryer and I made them from frozen dinner roll dough. There is no filter on the picture above, they turned out golden brown and tasted like they were served from a restaurant. If you have an air fryer, you have to try these!

Put your frozen dinner roll dough balls in the refrigerator overnight to thaw. I actually had these covered in my refrigerator for 2 days. Cut a piece of parchment paper and put it in the bottom of the basket. Place whatever amount of dough balls that will fit on the parchment paper, or place only the amount you want to make like I did.

Lightly spray cooking oil on the dough balls.

Start your air fryer to 325 degrees for 35 seconds, with nothing in it, then turn it off. Place the basket with the dough balls into the air fryer, close the lid immediately and let it sit for 30 minutes without turning it on.

Air fry at 325 degrees for 12 minutes or until golden brown like these are. Your air fryer may cook differently than mine, so keep an eye on them after 10 minutes. Brush them with melted butter right away and serve.

    • I couldn’t believe it worked! The only reason I tried it was because I had 5 dough balls left over from another meal and and I hate waste. I figured what could I lose. Thank you Linda!

  1. You know the story … no air fryer in this house (I’ll have to go the restaurant then to get them 😁). But I must say, I’m really surprised on how good they look – and that from an air fryer!

    • I know was I shocked when I opened the lid. I can’t wait to try more things in the air fryer after this one. I have come to the conclusion you can air fry anything. Thank you Janet❤️

  2. I didn’t realise you could bake in an air fryer like this! Great to know, bet the roll smelled great while they are cooking. I love the smell of baking bread!

    • I didn’t either but I had dough left over and used my conversion from oven to air fryer and it worked! I probably could have let them rise longer but 30 minutes worked!
