Thank you Ab!
Chocolate cookies+chocolate milk=heaven!
I crave these cookies. They’re so easy and delicious.
Have you ever tried the peanut butter no bakes. They are just as delicious and easy.
Yes, I have! Yum.
Absolute yumminess in one picture!
Thank you I’m hoping to have time to try some new kinds before Christmas but I am running out of freezer room!
Where do you store ’em all Diane? Do you bake cookies and hold them in containers until closer to Christmas?
I start baking 2 weeks before Christmas then I double bag them and freeze them. I am running out of room this year!
How do you keep them from having the funny “freezer taste” or is it just me? I used to buy bagels or bread for Winter and take out a couple of slices at a time and it had an odd taste, even using freezer bags? Maybe air got into the bag?
I found that by sealing them in a bread (storage) bag and then a freezer bag you don’t get that freezer taste. However, I only freeze for a couple of weeks.
Good to know – thanks Diane. Maybe mine were frozen for too long. I used to get rustic bread to last for a while into the Winter and it had a funny taste and smell.
Bread is awful frozen. I don’t use a loaf fast enough so I keep it in the refrigerator and it keeps a little longer. I throw away more than I eat but I have to have it. Lol
Yes, it always has a funny smell and taste too. I like it at room temperature but the rustic breads often have no preservatives, so you have to refrigerate it or it turns green!
Thanks for reminding me to make my all time favorite once a year Christmas cookies!
You’re welcome Joni! Have you tried the Peanut Butter No Bakes?
No, but they look tempting!
Thank you!
I haven’t actually done any Christmas baking yet….next week!
I’m coming to your house! I bet you make some delicious cookies.
These qualify as a perfect cookie. Few ingredients, so easy to make, and everyone loves ’em!
So true! Thanks for your comment!
These look terrific! You show the best recipe ideas!
Awe thank you! I don’t make the fancy Christmas cookies. I learned over the years to make the ones we all love to eat, not just look at.
How do you get yours to be so plump? Mine always spread out and are so flat.
Your bring them to a boil and once you can’t stir away the bubbles, that’s when you start your 1 minute timer. It sounds like you’re not letting it boil long enough. I hope this helps! ❤️
