Cheesy Jalapeño Pepper & Bacon Dip

This is my favorite recipe I created this year! Made with bacon, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, mayo, jalapeño peppers and green onion. Make it as hot as you want by leaving the seeds in the jalapeño peppers or removing them like I did.

Place all of the ingredients into a bowl.

Cream and combine thoroughly
with the back of a spoon.

Put the dip into an oven safe dish.

Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 20 – 30 minutes or
until the cheese is melted and the dip is hot and bubbly.
Time will depend on the size of baking dish you use.

Ingredients
- 3-4 medium jalapeño peppers, chopped small (seeds removed are optional)
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
- 4 bacon, cooked and chopped small

- 2 green onion, white part & sliced into pieces
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350º.
- In a medium bowl thoroughly combine all of the ingredients by creaming them together with the back of a spoon.
- Place the dip into an oven safe dish approximately 5” round by 2” deep. Any size can be used as long as you adjust the time you bake it.
- Bake for 20 – 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the dip is hot and bubbly. Time will depend on the size of dish you use.
- Serve hot with crackers.

I love this combo of ingredients
It never occurred to me that it is similar to the jalapeño poppers! One of my followers mentions it to me. No wonder it was so easy to create since I made so made poppers this year. 🤦🏽♀️ Thanks Beth💕
This looks so good.
Thank you SO much!
Oh my gosh! This looks delicious!
It turned out so good Shannon. I am ready to make more already! I am doubling the recipe next time. Thank you!
As always, looks great!
Thanks! 🥰
Sounds good, thanks. Is it only the white parts of the green onion? Or both, whites and greens? ThanksJim, Sandusky, OH
I only used the whites but you could save the greens to top off as a garnish. Thanks neighbor!
I believe this will now be my new Sunday football go-to. Sounds delicious!
Make a double batch I could eat one batch all myself it was so good. It will be perfect for the football season, great idea. Thank you!
Great tip, thanks!!
Update: Made this on Sunday (double batch as suggested) and OMG, it was even better than anticipated (and may or may not already be gone)!
Hahaha I’m glad yo liked it, I just made another batch.
Looks delicious! All ingredients that I love individually and I bet they taste great blended together.
It really tasted great and a delicious dip for your dinners with your friends!
All my favorite stuff!
Me too and one of my followers said it should be called Jalapeño Popper Dip! Never even dawned on me to call it that. 🤦🏽♀️ No wonder I liked it so well.
🙂
It’s a jalapeño popper dip!
Ha never thought of calling it that but your right! Your brilliant!
Why thanks! My son loves to make the poppers!
My husband came in today and said he just pulled all the garden plants. He asked me if I need anymore jalapeño peppers. I said not really why? He said he just picked 37! Looks like more poppers are in my future or maybe something new.
Oh my!!!!! Well, if the heat gets to you all, they do freeze well!
I didn’t know that, thank you! Do you just freeze them whole, blanch them, slice them or what?
Peppers freeze beautifully just chopped up, freeze flat on a sheet like blueberries, then pack them in a bag. No need to blanch!
Awesome!!!! Thank you so much!
Just in time for football season. Yummy!
Yes perfect for the football snacks. I was thinking holidays too. Thank you!
That looks delicious😊
Thank you so much! 💕
Harvesting my jalapeños this week; I can’t wait to try this.
I seriously am ready to make it again. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. 💕
Thank you! 💕
This looks so good!
This is a dip that is also a meal!
Yes and I couldn’t believe how great it tasted. (Sometimes I even surprise myself 😂) I just told my husband 5 minutes ago I need to make it again. The recipe only makes a soup bowl size but it can definitely be doubled. Thanks!
for many years we made this really easy dip my mother n law told me about
–
it was the pack of cream cheese, can of rotel tomatoes, can of black beans, pepper jack cheese, and maybe pieces of chicken
–
it was assembled quick like this one here, and hearty
It sounds wonderful!!! I love Rotel and have pepper jack cheese in the refrigerator always.
mmmmmm
Yum!
Thanks!

Thank you so much for the reblog!!! ❤️
Definitely doing this dish! My neighbours will love it!
If they like jalapeño poppers they will love this one. My husband just picked the last of our jalapeño peppers…..37!
Wow bumper crop!
Live this combination! 💜
*Love
Thank you Suni it was like jalapeño popper dip.
Thanks!
You are welcome. 💜
A quick glance and I thought it was a pizza, then saw it was dip. Looks delicious and wish I had some right now to nibble on while I listen to the “better-build-an-ark” weather forecast.
It was delicious and tasted like jalapeño poppers in a dip. We are going to get hit hard with rain and they are already posting a flood watch for our area. No walk for you tomorrow!
Oh yum! This weather is horrible – can you believe all the rain and it’s still raining. My weather alarm went off three times for flood watches, then the normal Wednesday alarm check … all this in five minutes. So Fall gets off on the wrong foot after all the crazy Summer weather.
I saw jalapenos at the farmer’s market yesterday so I’m going to make this today. It sounds so yummy. Thanks for this easy recipe.
We just picked the last of our jalapeños and I have over 40 in the refrigerator! I am going to make a double batch of this and more jalapeño poppers then the rest will get frozen. How did you like it?
It was delicious! I’ll have to buy more jalapenos at the farmer’s market and freeze them so I can make more whenever I want. Thanks!
I just froze mine and I have the dip in the refrigerator, yes I made another batch! 😂
