Simplehuman Kitchen Soap Dispenser Review
This is my new favorite kitchen soap dispenser. It is a no touch liquid soap dispenser that doesn’t drip. You can control how much soap is dispensed and their soap is wonderful, should you decide to use it.
I love that I don’t have to touch it to get the soap out. It also has buttons to set to the desired amount of soap.
It is simple to refill with no mess. They sell different scented liquid soap and I LOVE the lemon!
Most dispensers drip soap all over the counter and this one does not.
Another thing I love is that I can be touching raw meat and not have to contaminate a pump handle in order to put soap on my hands.
I can’t say anything bad about this liquid soap dispenser. The soap that the manufacturer sells only takes a small amount to thoroughly clean your hands. You do not have to buy their soap but I love it and the lemon scent.
This particular soap dispenser was purchased at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $49.99 and 34 oz of liquid hand soap is $8.99 but I was lucky enough to have received both as a gift from my mother in law!

I run to the bathroom multiple times as I cook to wash my hands. I don’t know why I never thought of this. I have the best mother in law!

Me too Michelle! FYI Have you ever wrapped a rubber band around the pump stem to limit how far down they can push the pump? That’s another way to get them to use less.

Absolutely Ab! I can’t believe I have never had one. We bought the same one for my mother in law for Christmas and she loved it. She is so thoughtful that she went and bought me one too.

That is right up my alley Diane. I have sensitive skin and have used Johnson & Johnson baby soap in a pump for several years and at the store the other day, they no longer sell it in a pump, but you have to pick it up and squeeze it out. I had told myself I needed to buy a pump dispenser as the one I’m using is not a twist-off-and-refill-it type. I like the idea of not touching the pump and contamination. Your mother-in-law is a sweetie.
She sure is Linda! When we got married she lived 2 hours away. I used to stay with her by myself for a one week vacation! We had so much fun! Now she moved here and is 92 years old. She lives in a condo by herself and still drives!
I want to be that girl – it is all about independence with you get that age. Still having the mobility at 92 years old, not to mention the ability to still drive is wonderful and because of it, she will live to a ripe old age. That’s great you get along with your mother-in-law so well. I can remember my mom and dad bickering and he’d go spend the night at my grandmother’s house (my mom’s mom). 🙂

seems like a good product – 🙂 and we have an in the sink dispenser (on an old but still nice sink) and it is nice to have it handy like this
I never put soap at the kitchen sink for washing your hands because my family wants to wash their filthy outdoor hands in the kitchen sink. I always hated that because I am doing something with food in the sink all the time and didn’t want them contaminating my sink. They are told to use the bathroom sink. Now I tell them not to use my soap dispenser unless they are cooking. That took care of that problem! 🤣😂🤣

You are very lucky to have gotten this as a gift. I can surely use this in the kitchen and bathroom. I love that you can select how much soap to use. I use pumps and my granddaughter uses soooooo much soap. Another thing to put on my list for my trip down south, if we can ever cross the border again.
Here’s a hint to the pump dispenser. Wrap a rubber band around the stem of the long pump piece. Depending on the size of the rubber band it limits how far she can push the pump which limits the soap used. We have the same problem with my 6 year old grandson.

That company makes good products, I have several things made by them. A soup dispenser that doesn’t leak is a very good thing.

This seems like a great soap dispenser… but– I have to remind everyone that germs/bacteria/viruses cannot grow on soap, not even a grubby looking bar of soap that multiple people have used. Soap is sterile (at least, plain soap is– the kind that’s loaded with moisturizer or other add-ins might be a different story). And bar soap is more environmentally friendly than liquid soap 🙂
You make a good point, however, putting raw chicken hands on a bar of soap my grandkids use is very unappealing to me. I will stick to the liquid soap as that is what I have used for years. I appreciate your input Aspasia.
Understandable 🙂 You should definitely use whatever you prefer/feel most comfortable with. But do think it’s important for people to be reminded that soap kills all germs (just so they don’t feel they have to use liquid soap if they don’t want to) 🙂
