    • Hahaha I like it because the peeps pop right off. Since I am the only one that likes peeps (unbelievable I know) I took them off before serving. Also, I add the coconut after the frosting sets so the people that don’t like coconut can brush it right off. I try to please them all…lol

  1. It’s super sweet Diane and that’s not just the marshmallow Peeps making it taste that way. I probably told you before that my mom and I gave this cake to our beloved neighbor Marge one time for Easter. She loved Peeps and loved this cake. It must have been before she got her digital camera and her smartphone as she was as crazy about taking photos of everything like I am. 🙂

      • We used an angel cake I think. I don’t remember the frosting though. I used to love Angel Lush Cake with the pineapple and strawberries in the frosting. This is so cute for Easter. I had a great Saturday, Sunday was crummy weather, so I did a few posts on some hikes I took last Fall and had put it off as it was a big project. We had rain in the morning, then 30 mph winds all day. (Not that I’m a tumbleweed and could roll along … LOL.)

      • You are very welcome, Diane. You have clearly been very productive over the Easter weekend!

Speaking of what I have got myself occupied in, I have stayed up till very late to complete some new graphics and animations plus more pertinent information for my special Easter post entitled “Easter in Modern Multimedia Perspective“, which you can easily find at the Home Page of my blog, as it is currently the Featured Post. • We are secretly wishing she had slipped a slice of that Peeps Easter Cake to each of us. We have “virtual everything else” – sigh. 🙂

      • Dear Linda Schaub,

Indeed! Such a gustatory delight and eye candy can unceremoniously bring one to the brink of salivating!

Please refresh Diane’s post about Peeps Easter Cake to see my conversations with her for the last 20 minutes to half an hour or so. We seem to have got into a three-way conversation here. Well, I suppose that good food can bring people together. Many dishes are so enticing that were it not for my strong will to curb my food desire and sweet tooth, I would have stopped remaining slim and become a big fat pink elephant long ago . . . . .

All of these photos and writing about food here are making me very hungry and teasing my appetite! Ohhh! May sumptuous meals or exquisite cuisines….come to me right now!

In the spirit of Diane’s post and her culinary skill, I would like to offer you and Diane some tempting and mind-bogglingly presented food in one of my posts entitled “🦅 SoundEagle in Edible Art, Glorious Food and Festive Season 🍣🥗🍜🍲🍱” published at https://soundeagle.wordpress.com/2012/12/08/soundeagle-in-edible-art-glorious-food-and-festive-season/

        Please enjoy!

By the way, I once studied advanced music theory with Dr Gail Schaub at the tertiary level and wonder whether you know of him.

      • Well those are certain incredible edibles aren’t they? Thank you for sharing this post. No, Sound Eagle, I do not know Dr. Gail Schaub. I have actually known only one person with the same last name and that was William Schaub, the former Regional Director of the National Labor Relations Board in the Detroit area.

      • Dear Linda,

Hello! I am delighted to read your comment here. Thank you for your feedback and compliment.

Given that your comment pertains to my post entitled “Easter in Modern Multimedia Perspective”, I would really appreciate it if you could kindly submit your comment to the comment section in my said post too.

You can simply copy and paste your previous comment and perhaps add more if you have something extra to say. Thank you in anticipation.

The surname Schaub seems to be rather uncommon.

I also look forward to your visiting my special Easter post entitled “Easter in Modern Multimedia Perspective“, which you can easily find at the Home Page of my blog, as it is currently the Featured Post. I have stayed up till very late in the last few days to complete some new graphics and eye-catching animations plus more pertinent information for this Easter post.

I would like to inform you that these animations will only be visible when you visit my blog and view its contents in situ. Hence, it is prudent to refrain from viewing my blog in the WordPress Reader, which tends to ignore or strip away some styling and formatting components, and also fails to display animations, all of which are aplenty in my posts and pages, which will look very different and even improper or amiss in the WordPress Reader.

In particular, scroll down to the end of my said post entitled “Easter in Modern Multimedia Perspective” to watch the complex animations under the heading “Related Articles 📰 with Animations“. Please enjoy!

        Yours sincerely,
