I took a trip to Trader Joe’s which is almost an hour away. I like to stock up on food when I go there and freeze it. I bought these ravioli because I love lobster and they looked so pretty! I have never cooked lobster ravioli before so I wasn’t sure what kind of sauce to make. I decided on this Tomato Cream Sauce recipe I found at http://www.halfbakedharvest.com which turned out to be a great choice. This was a creamy tomato sauce full of flavor that is made with tomatoes, cheese, onion, garlic, milk, parsley and basil.

I would make my own but these looked too

good to pass up! Yes even I cheat and

buy prepared food some times.

  1. Lobster ravioli sounds delicious! We don’t have Trader Joe’s here. Yum. And the sauce looks delicious. Enjoy!

  2. Yummy 😋. Now this is the perfect dinner for a lazy weekend!
I must admit, we’ve never made ravioli ourselves, but love to make sauces going with it … and your’s looks like a true winner!

  3. I’ve had those lobster ravioli, too, but, as you said, the lobster part of it is not very impressive. But I do like the Ravioli with truffles and porcini mushrooms (I already had that in Germany, where Aldi carried it).

  4. Trader Joe’s! You lucky girl! I have yet to venture to Trader Joe’s, but when I do I know it’s going to be quite the shopping trip because I have missed so many of their products during the past year. I have eyeballed that lobster ravioli in the past, but never had the nerve to try it. Thanks for the encouragement. Meanwhile, your sauce looks delicious. There’s nothing better than homemade sauce, is there?

    • Going there was a nice drive and the coolers go with us too…lol We weren’t thrilled with the lobster ravioli, not worth it! I still have two more kinds of ravioli in the freezer to try though. The bolognese ravioli were delicious! Yes homemade sauce is great!

  5. Oh my, I’m behind on your recipes! I should be reading after I go food shopping, I’ve just added 12 ingredients to my list! This looks so good! Thanks Diane, C
