Air Fryer Red Potatoes

Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these delicious Air Fried Red Potatoes were ready to serve in about 20 minutes. They are as easy to make as they were good!

Scrub the potatoes with water and pat dry

with a paper towel. Slice in half, if the

potatoes are larger cut them into quarters.

Place the potatoes in a bowl, add the oil and toss.

Add the garlic powder, rosemary and salt then toss well.

Spray the basket with cooking oil and preheat air fryer

to 400º for 5 minutes. Place the prepared red potatoes,

in a single layer, into the air fryer basket.

Cook for about 20 minutes or until tender and golden brown.

Air Fryer Red Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb. red potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil 
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder 
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp. dried Rosemary, chopped fine

Directions

  1. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil then preheat the air fryer to 400º for 5 minutes..
  2. Gently scrub the potatoes with water and pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Cut potatoes in half. If they are larger potatoes cut them into quarters.
  4. Place the potatoes into a bowl and toss with the oil.
  5. Add the garlic powder, rosemary and salt then toss well.
  6. Place the potatoes into the basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for about 20 minutes or until tender and golden brown.
  8. Serve immediately

  1. You have gotten really versatile with your air fryer! Do you think it is much of a calorie saver or do you mainly like the way it cooks food. You certainly have had a lot of delicious looking winners.

    • Thanks! I think it is a time saver and calorie saver. Most of the little bit of oil you do use ends up on the bottom of the pan. I also will just use Pam cooking spray oil. I made wings last night and I didn’t use any oil. It leaves the skin so crispy and full of flavor without any breading. The only bad thing I can say about it is that when food is cooked in a single layer, it is usually only enough for 2 people which is perfect for just my husband and me. But when I cook more I have to do it in shifts.
