Cheeseburger In Paradise Pie
Ground beef and onion seasoned then placed in a pie pan, covered in cheese with a baking mix that is poured on top and baked in the oven. Add the optional ketchup or mustard just like when you eat a cheeseburger. My almost 10 year old granddaughter made this for us last night for supper because it is so easy!

Looks wonderful, Diane π
Thank you Phil! This is a simple but delicious recipe.
Now that is a strange idea (to me) but I love ground mince and I love cheese. Oh and I love pies π So, this is another to add to the “to do” list π Thank you .. and your grand-daughter too π
You’re very welcome!
π
A great recipe from your granddaughter. Enjoy it. It sounds good.
Thank you JC. I really love seeing her grow in her cooking abilities. Every time she makes something she learns something new. This recipe I let her cut the onion up. She kept saying “What is wrong with my eyes?” hahahaha
Looks like a good dinner on a chilly day. I will have to try this! Thanks, and enjoy your day!
Thank you Betty you too!
mmmm – cheeseburger pie looks extra good on a cold rainy day
Oh yes rain and no more snow! Come on spring…lol
π
sooo yummy!!!
Thanks a simple recipe too!
You do Jimmy Buffett proud! This looks amazing Diane, no drips, yet just as delicious!
Are your grandkids back in the classroom yet? Mine starts back next week in California. Yippee! C
They went in September and never stopped going. My daughter made the choice and I am so glad I didn’t have to homeschool them all this time. The school has done a fabulous job teaching them how to social distance in school. I will admit that I have been nervous they would bring Covid home to my husband and me though. Nothing happened and my husband had his vaccines recently. I get my first one next week if all goes well. There will be a lot of happy parents in California…lol
Oh, this looks good. Has my curiosity.
Thanks! You will need company for this one, not that you would mind….lol
Hahs. I definitely wouldn’t mind.
Love these easy recipes.
Me too but I have a few coming that are a bit more difficult. I want to make pot stickers (I haven’t made them in a long time) and I made strawberry cinnamon sweet rolls that turned out amazing. I just have to write it up. Check out the Weeds recipe I am posting tomorrow!!! Thanks Carla
Will do. Sunday was a Diane’s Kitchen day. I made your blueberry muffins, roast in the crock pot and asparagus in the air fryer. All were delicious.
Oh now you’re making me hungry! Knowing my followers are making my recipes makes all the work worth it! Thank you dear friend!
Keep them coming. I make your beer bread all the time. I add grated cheese and my kids all love it. Especially great with chili.
I bet what a great idea Carla!
Love the idea behind this
Thank you Sheree!
Pleasure
You always come up with the most novel recipes. Grandkids will for sure like this.
Thank you that is why I have so much fun cooking…lol
Thatβs a very interesting way to prepare and enjoy a cheeseburger! Good for your granddaughter. Iβm surprised she didnβt sprinkle Hot Cheetos!
OMG I never thought about that! Hahaha
Sounds easy and tasty. I’m going to try this one. I’m sure the grandkids will love it. π
Mine sure did even though I forgot to set out the ketchup and mustard…lol
Very nice and congratulations to your granddaughter. She did a great job. Now I’m going to be singing a certain song all night.π
Hahaha Thank you and a great song it is to sing!
Thank you!
Thanks for the recipe, I’ll make a cheeseburger, simple recipe indeed.
greetings
I forgot to have the grandkids use ketchup and mustard…lol Guess what? They still cleaned their plates! hahaha Thank you Ultra!
How could this not be tasty π! I would be very happy with a dish like this one – thanks for sharing Diane.
Thanks and you are very welcome!
Wow congrats to your granddaughter! This looks great!
Thank you so much. I will tell her!
Smart granddaughter, and smart granny for teaching her. I bet your kitchen is always filled with joy, laughter, and the yummiest of good cooking smells, Diane. π
Awe thanks Mitzy. Thereβs no other way I would have it.
Aww! I love that your granddaughter made this for you. How sweet! I bet that was a fun evening. What I love most of all is how she’s learning from you. One day she’ll grow up to be the master cook her grandma is!
This recipe looks unbelievably delicious, Diane! I am printing it off with the hopes of making it in our home real soon. YUM! Shared it too so others can come drool and prepare for some comfort food! π Thank you, as always, for sharing the very best treats!
This looks delicious and your granddaughter is quite the cook. I also like the song by the same name!
Yes she is getting there. Then it will be time to teach my grandson, heβs 6. Thanks Linda!
Wow – start ’em young. Maybe I ought to move in for a while and I could learn a few things. π
Absolutely but you may go home needing to add more miles to your yearly goal! ππ€£π
I don’t doubt that!!
I can’t be on your blog when I’m hungry, too much good food! Now I’m even hungrier than I was before I got on here, lol! I’ll have to make this sometime. Also I have a question, did your granddaughter top it with hot Cheetos when she was finished? ππ
Hahaha no way! We were eating this one! She gos through an entire bag from Thursday night until Sunday night!
Good grief! ππ€£
Hats off to her , that looks so incredible Diane !
Thank you Nisha she was pretty proud.
“Cheeseburger” and “Paradise” are two words that belong together. Can you have one without the other? I think not.
I agree! Hahaha
Love how quickly this can be put together! Will put my kids onto it too π
They will love making it and eating it!
So delicious! Your granddaughter did a great job!ππ
Awe thank you she was pretty proud.
I could most definitely get lost in that paradise lol!!
Hahaha we sure did! Thanks β€οΈ
