Italian Meatballs Wrapped In Biscuits

A meal or an appetizer, you decide but I made these a meal. These are made with canned biscuits (or your own), seasoned, stuffed with a meatball, topped with butter and Parmesan cheese, baked then dipped in spaghetti sauce. You have to taste these, they were amazing!

Take the biscuits out of the can and split each one in half.

Using your hand, flatten the biscuits to about a 3” circle.

Lightly sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

Place a meatball in the center.

Wrap the dough around the meatball and pinch to seal.

Place the dough, pinched side

down, onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Brush dough with melted butter

and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven

for 20 – 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve immediately with warm spaghetti sauce for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Original Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layers Biscuits, 8 total 
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning 
  • 16 frozen & cooked Italian meatballs, thawed
  • 2-3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Open the can of biscuits and split each one in half, making 16 biscuits. Using your hand, flatten each one to about a 3″ circle.
  3. Lightly sprinkle the center of each one with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  4. Place a meatball in the center of each one. Wrap the dough around the meatball and pinch to seal.
  5. Place the dough, pinched side down, onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle the top with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a golden brown.
  8. Serve immediately with warm spaghetti sauce.
