As you see I have been trying out different Pork Chops recipes. I had a bunch of Pork Chops in the freezer and decided to come up with different ways to cook them. This recipe is made with Pork Chops, onion, garlic, seasonings, condensed soup and beef broth for a gravy that makes itself as the Pork Chops bake in the oven.

  1. Does the Cheddar cheese soup give it a unique taste Diane? I would probably use mushroom soup, but if it is a flavour that adds to the taste, then I would give it a try.

    • Yes it is a different taste but I suggested the others in case someone couldn’t find the Cheddar Soup. This is a recipe Paula Dean put in a book I bought but I completely changed her recipe, however, she used the cheddar cheese soup.

      • Okay, I will see if I can find it here. I know I used to be able to get it, but haven’t bought it in so long.

    • We really loved it, however, the grandkids don’t like onions and didn’t. I usually add dehydrated onions if they are eating it and they never say a word. But I sliced these onions in half and they could see them…lol Thank you!

  2. A unique way to prepare pork chops. I really like these pantry recipes. I am assuming cooking the chops in the gravy at such a low heat really tenderizes them.

  3. I have pork chops in my freezer that I haven’t fixed yet because I’m so sick of the same recipe. Now I can finally fix them! This looks so good!
