  1. We get our Swedish meatballs from Ikea. 🤣 But this looks great! Didn’t realize you could use canned mushroom soup this way. Yum!

    • It is so simple and a great way to prepare an appetizer. We will even have them as the meat portion of a meal. To change things up I will also prepare them in spaghetti sauce instead of soup. I wish we had an IKEA by us! I get these meatballs at Sams Club.

  2. Diane….you have been super busy, and I have enjoyed your efforts….be sure to check out my blog, and have a joyous holiday season….and thanks for the tasty, but uncomplicated kitchen advice….jackie

    • Thank you Jackie! I also have my 6 & 9 year old grandchildren living with us as my daughter is a critical care ICU nurse. She just took her first vaccine shot so we are hoping to get the grandkids back home to her on Feb. 1st.

  3. Perfect timing Diane! This will be our appetizer tonight! Can’t wait to impress my crew with “Swedish” meatballs! I can almost hear their praise and joy! Merry Christmas my friend, C

  4. Oh my goodness!! Yet again you’re reading my mind like you did last time with the gnocchi recipe! I was literally planning to make meatballs later today!!! Are we twin sisters separated at birth or something?!

Love seeing you here and Instagram both. Hope your holiday is a good one.

    • Haha maybe we are, I always wanted a sister! We had a quiet but wonderful Christmas with the grandkids. Thank you dear friend and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas too.

      • I’m glad, sister, that you had a wonderful Christmas!! ❤ We did too…it was just me and my spouse and we read books and cooked good food. Phone calls with friends and family. A quiet but cozy holiday. Surprisingly relaxing this way! ❤

      • OK, I think I will try them when I go back to buying perishable foods again on the next trip to the grocery store (not for a while). I’ve been using chicken mostly … hard to make Swedish meatballs out of chicken. 🙂

    • I have seen that posted many times. Many people rave about it but it just sounded so sweet with the jelly so I didn’t try it. Now that I know somebody that has, I may give it a try sometime.
