No Bake Cookies are my sons favorite cookie, but then again, who doesn’t like chocolate, peanut butter and oats? This recipe was given to me by my son’s Grandma, bless her soul. I always make sure I make everyone’s favorite cookie at Christmas time. It took me quite a few times to figure out how to keep these delicious cookies thick and not flatten out. I am going to share that with you as these turn out great every time I make them. This is the 4th cookie recipe of about 15 that I will be posting.

  1. Whoa! I’ll send a postage paid box. Fill it and send it back. These cookies will have a real short life span here. Just something special about Grandma’s cookies.

    • I agree and it took me a while to tweak them to be thick. The recipe is the same but my method is just a little different. I remember hers being so thin but just as good.

  2. My favorite cookie! I’ve been experimenting with a basic recipe over the years, trying out different kinds of nut butters. But my favorite addition is a hint of cinnamon. I enjoy your cookie recipes.

  3. You’re right – who doesn’t like peanut butter, chocolate and oats? I seem to remember these from my “fun food” years – these are “no bake” … hmm. I was excited ’til I learned you had to heat the ingredients. Maybe for next Christmas the laptop will be off the stove top?

      • Me too because I’m afraid I’ve forgotten how to boil water! I just run the water at the tap to make instant coffee and my morning oatmeal – the water get hot enough to make regular Quaker old-fashioned oats oatmeal. I make up my oatmeal in advance in zip loc pouches (old-fashioned oats, granola, raisins, powdered milk, sunflower seeds) and just mix in water in the a.m. I make it up a week at a time. I should have bought a table for that Windows 10 laptop but I don’t have enough plugs in the house which is another problem.
