  1. Diane, next to shortbread cookies, snicker doodle cookies are my all time favorite cookie to make an to eat!!😊😊 I made a batch two weeks ago.

Do you by chance have a gluten free recipe for these cookies? Thanks for sharing! I think it’s time for another batch@.πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ‘£

  2. There was a fellow in our office last year who kept us supplied in Snickerdoodles. Sadly, he’s left the company, so maybe I should continue the tradition with your delicious recipe…

  3. I was never around to smell them baking as I would be at school or at work, but the smell when you opened the Tupperware container was just heavenly! I can shut my eyes and remember after seeing these cookies.

    • Your mom was smart, she made them while you were at school so you didn’t get into them warm….lol
I asked the grandkids what kind is their favorite so I can be sure and make them and my grandson said chocolate chip. The next day he asked me where were all HIS chocolate chip cookies. He thought I was making them all just for him! 🀣

      • You get a laugh from your grandkids Diane … HIS chocolate chip cookies. LOL My mom used to make candy-cane cookies when I was a kid. There were two little rolls of dough for each cookie – red and the regular color of dough, and you twisted them together. So my mom had a turquoise Melamac mixing bowl – still have it. It has a big red stain in it from the red dye – every time she used the bowl, she’d remind me about “your cookies stained my brand-new bowl!” I offered to buy her a new one … she said “no, I just remember making them for my baby that way.”

Have a wonderful Christmas and joyous days ahead with warm laughter. Take care.
