Asian Pork Meatballs
Asian Pork Meatballs are delicious and made
with ground pork that is baked in the oven, tossed
with a simple Asian sauce then serve with rice and
your favorite vegetable. Adapted from: Food & Wine
Cover a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the ground pork, garlic, green onion, ginger,
sesame oil, salt and pepper to a bowl then
mix well with your hands.
Roll into 16 even balls with your hands and place
on the baking sheet without touching each other.
Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for
17 minutes or until the center of each meatball
is 165 degrees. Check frequently so you do
not over cook or under cook.
Meanwhile, add all of the sauce ingredients into
a small saucepan and whisk to combine.
Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
In a medium bowl add the hot meatballs.
Pour the glaze over them and toss gently until
all of the meatballs are coated with the sauce.
Place on a serving dish and serve. This is
great with rice and your favorite vegetable.

Interesting and delicious recipe , I bet this would be great with minced chicken or lamb as well. Wonderful share Diane!
Or even turkey. It was very tasty. Thanks!
These would be perfect for a party! (oh wait it’s COVID…I mean a party in the future!) 🙂
Hahaha You haven’t lost your humor! Glad to see that!
Holy Turkey! This sounds amazeBALLS. Get it? Turkey meatballs? Lol, sorry. Seriously, thanks for the recipe. Excited to try it!
Hahaha if only it was turkey and not pork! 🤣 Enjoy!❤️
What the heck. My brain malfunctioned, okay?!! 🤣🤣🤣
Yes definitely OK mine does that every day! 🤣😂🤣😂
Pork+meatball. You just can’t go wrong! Nonna wouldn’t do meatballs quite like this, but these look great!
Thank you it was just enough sauce to give them that Asian taste.
Meatballs are always a delight and this recipe looks good!
Thank you! Pork was a nice change from beef meatballs.
Thanks. I trust it is Australian pork!
Absolutely! Lol
These look so good. I live meatballs. This is going to be a must try.
We really enjoyed them Christy. It was just the right amount of sauce to give the meatballs a great taste. Thanks so much!
Hmm..good one..but I recently stopped eating red meat ..other wise I would have given it a try..!!
Well thanks for your nice comment anyway! Wish I could too but it will never happen. My husband would divorce me if I stopped cooking red meat..lol
Hahaha 😂..and the reverse is what’s going on here..😂
How funny!
looks delicious and easy to make. i’ll have to try it!
Thank you so much! Have a great day!
Look yummy.
Thanks they really were. 🎃
Delicious recipe
It was a nice change using pork instead of ground beef too. Thanks so much!
These look delicious – you say easy, but I had to scroll down a lot to get to comments. Just sayin’. 🙂
That’s because the sauce recipe is there too. They really are easy and fun to make, like rolling play dough. Lol
OK, when I am more advanced and use more appliances in the kitchen, then. 🙂 I just sent you a fun e-mail, but here is the link. Since you moderate your messages, just remove this from my comment. I think you should enter for a free mask – you were lucky in the other contests … and if you don’t win, buy or just write about it … it would be a funny post and you love bacon!

Done! I even entered my husband…lol
I think it would make a fun post – in fact get your picture taken making a bacon dish. Then send it to Hormel on top of it. Hope you or Terry win Diane! You were so lucky in the other contests last year.
Thanks I saw where Ramen noodles was having one too but haven’t had a chance to check it out yet. Things have been so busy!Three grandkids and a birthday party here all last weekend! There were 10 of us and I’m exhausted..lol
I didn’t know about Ramen noodles and just Googled for it – it is 3D and looks like a cup of noodles. Am I the only person in the world who has never had Ramen noodles? That’s a lot of commotion Diane – I’d be exhausted too!
Yes you must be the ONLY one that has never had Ramen Noodles Linda! They are in single serving packs you can store all winter, they only take a few minutes to cook, cost about a dollar a pack and taste great!
Well I have to try them Diane – never tried them and I’m guessing you cook them on the stove in a pot? I need to expand my horizons!
Yes just a small burner needed. Add water and the noodles, boil then remove from the heat and add the flavoring. y 9 year old granddaughter makes her own so I know you can do it.
OK, thank you – the only living person who never had Ramen noodles … however, your granddaughter makes bread, so she is way advanced to begin with!!
Hahaha beer bread is like dump cake, stir and bake. You could make that too. I am going to make you comfortable cooking no matter how long it takes. I wish you lived closer!
I had to add that as bread will be a few more levels yet I think. One day it will be beer bread – I guess your yeast is from the beer then? I hope you are right and I wish we lived closer too!
Still doing OK but my sister in law that lives in another state came down with covid.
Oh no- I can’t “like” that. I keep hearing that the symptoms for those contracting it now are less severe since they know about the virus now – hope that she is okay. I will keep her in my prayers Diane. Sadly, I have more and more people added to my prayer list in 2020.
Thanks Linda so far just no taste or smell and cold like symptoms. When will this end!
I hope it stays that way and nothing further comes of it. I am worried about this big spike. I’m running some errands on Thursday and have to see the allergist, then hope not to have to go out in crowds. I hope they come up with a trusted vaccine soon though likely not in the first half of 2021.
Stay safe!
Thank you Diane – you too.
Thanks for sharing this recipe. We’re going to try it out this weekend.
Enjoy they were fun to make and delicious to eat. Let me know how you like them.
Thanks Jack!❤️
I have some ground pork I was wondering what to do with. Perfect timing 🙂
Oh how nice! Enjoy we loved them!
Thank you! 🎃
Definitely going to try this one. Sounds wonderful!
Enjoy and thank you!
They look really tasty and the idea of adding the ginger inside sounds interesting. Thank you for a recipe! Greetings.
You’re welcome and thank you for your comment!
