Air Fryer Asian Chicken Wings

These wings were much better than any I have had in a restaurant! There is no messy grease to clean up with the air fryer because I didn’t use any! A delicious homemade Asian sauce and toasted sesame seeds added so much flavor. The wings were completely cooked, in my air fryer, in 30 minutes and they disappeared much faster when I served them.

  1. Hey, this looks so tasty! I’m always on a lookout for recipes… 🌸
But I was wondering, would it turn out as well with tofu instead, since I’m a vegetarian?

  2. I’m about to make wings in the Air Fryer for today’s Football Games… I usually do a dry Cajun Rub… but will experiment with your flavor combination!

    • I want to try a dry rub next time. May I ask what you use for a Cajun rub? I have a Cajun seasoning I usually use. We really loved the teriyaki and the Asian sauce but I want to try it dry too. Let me know how you like the Asian wings.

    • I have an instant pot and hate it. The air fryer cooks the food as if it had been fried but with little or no grease which I love. When I cooked these wings, they get a nice crispy skin, like frying does. I can’t get that in the oven. The baked potato I air fried was the best I have ever had. I just made Spam in it and it was great (OK don’t judge me) lol I think it is great for 1-2 people because when you air fry it is best to get the food separated so if you need a lot of food, you will have to cook it in shifts. In that case I would cook the food in the oven. Cooking for two of us (when grandkids aren’t here) it is perfect and like I said the food has tasted fabulous! I need to experiment more but I will. Ours is large and takes up a lot of space so if your space is precious I would say no. It is a wonderful gadget and I love ours but it is just a gadget. You can make do in your oven to save space.
