Air Fryer Asian Chicken Wings
These wings were much better than any I have had in a restaurant! There is no messy grease to clean up with the air fryer because I didn’t use any! A delicious homemade Asian sauce and toasted sesame seeds added so much flavor. The wings were completely cooked, in my air fryer, in 30 minutes and they disappeared much faster when I served them.
Ingredients
Make the sauce by combining all of the
sauce ingredients in a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat and
boil for one minute, then remove
from the heat and set aside.
Place the wings into the air fryer,
trying to keep them separated . Cook at
400 degrees for 25 minutes. They should
be a light brown when you take them out.
Place the wings into a large pan and pour
the sauce over the top. Turn the wings over
a few times coating them with the sauce.
Place the wings back into the air fryer.
Cook an additional 5 minutes at 400 degrees.
Remove to a serving plate and sprinkle with
toasted sesame seeds (optional) then serve.

Hey, this looks so tasty! I’m always on a lookout for recipes… 🌸
But I was wondering, would it turn out as well with tofu instead, since I’m a vegetarian?
I honestly can’t say, I have never made or tasted tofu, sorry!
That’s absolutely fine.
Thank you… 🌸

Looks great!!
Thank you we love wings!
You’re welcome, and who doesn’t!?!
I’m about to make wings in the Air Fryer for today’s Football Games… I usually do a dry Cajun Rub… but will experiment with your flavor combination!
I want to try a dry rub next time. May I ask what you use for a Cajun rub? I have a Cajun seasoning I usually use. We really loved the teriyaki and the Asian sauce but I want to try it dry too. Let me know how you like the Asian wings.
I make my own because some of the mixes have too much salt. Use what you like and what you are use to.
I have not gotten on the air fyer wagon yet. Passed on the instapot craze too. In your opinion, is an air fryer that much different than a convenction oven setting? I value your opinion. Space is precious in our city abode!

I have an instant pot and hate it. The air fryer cooks the food as if it had been fried but with little or no grease which I love. When I cooked these wings, they get a nice crispy skin, like frying does. I can’t get that in the oven. The baked potato I air fried was the best I have ever had. I just made Spam in it and it was great (OK don’t judge me) lol I think it is great for 1-2 people because when you air fry it is best to get the food separated so if you need a lot of food, you will have to cook it in shifts. In that case I would cook the food in the oven. Cooking for two of us (when grandkids aren’t here) it is perfect and like I said the food has tasted fabulous! I need to experiment more but I will. Ours is large and takes up a lot of space so if your space is precious I would say no. It is a wonderful gadget and I love ours but it is just a gadget. You can make do in your oven to save space.
Just bought an air fryer today and look what you shared. Love u Diane ❤️
Wonderful!!! Here is a few more! I will be posting Spam too soon. So far all of these were delicious.
