Linguine & Italian Sausage with Spinach
Linguine with Italian sausage, Spinach, a delicious sauce and topped with cheese made this a great tasting meal. I used “Hot” Italian sausage and my grandkids still cleaned their plates.
It was fun for them to eat with the rainbow pasta I used that I purchased when I took a class on making Handmade Cheese Ravioli but of course any type of pasta can be used in this dish.

It always surprises me how many different dishes can be made with a short list of basic ingredients. 🙂
I know right! But they all taste different. I must make 100 pasta and sausage recipes…lol
I think we were raised on pasta dishes. 🙂
Love how your recipes always call for ingredients already in my kitchen! Definitely giving this one a try. Thanks! 😊
Perfect! Pasta and sausage are a staple in my house too!

Thank you the grandkids thought so too….lol I love when they clean their plate.
This sounds like a recipe my husband would love!
I know we did! It is nice because it’s not smothered in sauce yet there is enough to coat everything. I used “hot” sausage which really made it perfect. Thanks Jan!
Those noodles are the greatest food I think I’ve ever seen!
Aren’t they pretty!!! I had to buy them….lol
You had me at “linugine” and “spinach.”
These are a few of my favorite things (as performed by John Coltrane, that is).
Did you see the color of my linguine? It was so cool!

Thank you for reblogging!
So pretty linguine 🙂
From when I’m in Singapore I’m keep seeing all this kind of “Italian sausages” but not sure why they are calling them Italian…Italian sausages are very plain pork sausages but all the “Italian sausages” I can find here are with a lot of other condiments 🙂
However, this looks really delicious…no wonder even with the Hot sausages your grand-kids still cleaned their plates 🙂 I would do it too 🙂
Wow how interesting! Maybe they put Italian spices in it so they call it that???? I hope you enjoy it as much as we did and thank you for your nice comment!
Maybe yes, they use Italian condiments and they call them Italian sausages…😉 However they are, Italian or not, still delicious 😋
I remember you took that class – very cool rainbow pasta!
Thank you! I signed up for more classes in the next few months. So excited to go.
Sounds good – making use of your retirement leisure time!
Another winner by the look of it. I do like Italian sausage (any kind of sausage for that matter) and the hotter the better, I am a big spice fan.
Thank you Fergy! We always buy the “Hot” Italian sausage too. I just made a gnocchi and with hot sausage for dinner today.
I have not had gnocchi for years, must try some again soon.
I want to make gnocchi from scratch this winter when things slow down.
Having read a bit of your blog I have no doubt you will succeed magnificently and not only that but make it look totally effortless!
Aw thank you Fergy. There is no effort when you love what you do.
Oh my goodness – this looks gorgeous! I must give it a go. 😊
Thank you Jo! This is one of our favorite meals!
I can see why!
That sounds good, I am going to make it for dinner
Awesome I hope you liked it as much as we did!
Oh my gosh, the pasta is so cute!
Isn’t that clever! I want to try and make it now.
Ooo, definitely let us know if you figure out the process!
