Ham Loaf
This Ham Loaf blew me away! I have never made Ham Loaf before because my husband isn’t a lover of ham. This is made with ground ham and ground pork. My husband and my granddaughter said they couldn’t tell I made it with ham and everybody cleaned their plates! I’ve seen Ham Loaf with glazes but I decided to leave it plain and I’m glad that I did because it tasted great without being smothered in all that sugar!

Well it’s true!
Did you serve this with any sides? I’m not a meat loaf fan but my boyfriend is all about how pork is better than ground beef. When we do burgers he’ll usually do ground pork with lamb. I only buy frozen venison or buffalo patties. Makes me wonder if I’d like a ham loaf for dinner since I’ve never been keen on meat loaf.
I love this with sweet potatoes but really any potato like mashed, Au Gratin etc. would be great. I love green beans with mine but a fruit or vegetable salad would also be great. If you like the taste of ham you will love this one.

It was the first Ham Loaf I loved! I really was surprised how good it tasted.
Seems like I have a recipe like that in my box from Ye olden days. Must go look it up. We had to make a recipe box with 3 x 5 cards when I was in Home Ec in high school (1958-61), and I still have it today! All the “good stuff” is in there! ;->

You can grind your own ham too……much cheaper!
