Deviled eggs are a family favorite, so we make them every year. π
They are here too! But for some reason I always get recruited to make them. Nobody likes peeling them. lol
My mother used to make delicious devilled egg but with avocado also in the mix π
Wow I bet that was delicious!
They were amazing but she only used to make them at parties or Christmas.
am surprised you let her leave the house with them lol great post, Diane π
Thank you!
I love deviled eggs! These sound so good.

They are a classic! My mother always made them.

Happy Easter!
Thank you Megala! Happy Easter to you too!
Mmmmm! I love deviled eggs!! Have loved them since I was a kid with a very strict religious grandfather who, when asked to “please pass the deviled eggs”, would get very angry and shout “They are SPICED eggs!”. Just to tweek him I would sometimes take a deviled egg and poke bits of red bell pepper on as horns and a tail. π
Hahahaha what a great story!!! He must of been quite the character! I can picture the egg with horns and a tail. Thanks for sharing that family memory Sue.
Lol! And thanks for letting me share Diane!! Happy cooking today! π
such a necessary Easter side dish! I have never tried to make these- but am gonna have to remember this recipe for next time!
Oh please give them a try. They really are easy to make. The hard part is peeling the egg!…lol
haha- I think I can handle that π Lol
Ohh god ππ..that seems so yummy π
Thank you Jyoti they are a family favorite!
My mom used to do that as well.
Another family must have when ever we get together.
Even though it was just two of us, my mom and me, on the long holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day, my mom would make a bunch of cold salads so we did not have to be cooking and minimal dishes. She used to make deviled eggs all the time. She also made taco salad and she’d send some next door to our neighbor and we still had a lot. It had elbow macaroni in it, instead of putting it into a shell (like the bowl-type shells) and everything else was the same, spicy as it had taco seasoning and had tortilla chips on the side) … I think I ate 3/4s of it, my mom was not big on spicy food.
Wow Taco pasta! Hmmmmm I need to think about making that now! Thanks for a great idea Linda!
It was wonderful – great for a Cinco de Mayo post. Today is National Pig-in-Blanket day. π
βRed bell pepper hornsβ! Hahaha! πΏ clever. I like them with crumbled bacon.
I put bacon on everything and never thought to put it on deviled eggs! You’re a genius!
Thank you for the reminder! My toddler is over the eggs now. This might trick her into eating more ha-ha. I’ll also get to enjoy them now too!
Hahaha Have you tried giving egg salad sandwiches?
Haven’t tried these for years, mine were often bedevilled π
Hahaha but I bet they still tasted good!
They did π
Yummy, Diane. An all-time favorite here on our farm! π
