Asian Ramen Noodle Chicken Salad
This is the best Asian Pasta recipe! For those that follow me, you know I love Ramen Noodles! I decided to make my own Asian recipe (with inspiration from a Pinterest recipe by ohines) and I am so glad that I did! This would be a great pasta salad to take to a brunch, picnic or just as a meal like I did.
Ingredients
In a medium non stick fry pan, add the
sesame seeds over medium high heat.
Cook them, stirring frequently, until lightly
brown. Remove from the heat and set aside.
In a large pot filled with hot water,
bring to a boil over medium heat.
Add the Ramen Noodles only.
DO NOT ADD THE FLAVOR PACKETS.
(Save the packets for soup or throw
them away.) Cook for 3 minutes or until
al dente. As they cook keep trying to pull
apart the noodles without breaking them.
Drain noodles and rinse
with cold water until cool.
Pour noodles into a large bowl.
In a medium bowl add the vegetable oil,
soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sugar,
sesame seeds, ginger and pepper.
This is the pasta dressing.
Whisk the dressing until combined.
Poor the dressing over the pasta.
Toss gently until it is combined.
Add the chicken, parsley and green onion.
Toss gently until combined and no liquid
remains. Refrigerate, covered, for at least 1/2 hour.
Place on serving plate and enjoy!

YUM! Ramen noodles were my college stable. NOT as a sacrifice, BUT because I love these noodles. That being said, college students need this recipe now!
Heck yeah! Look at me an old lady and I still love them…lol
Perfect for warm weather! 👍
So now when I’m preparing dinner-I think “how would Diane present this?” You always make your dishes look so pretty! 🙂
Awww you are so kind! Thank you so much!
This recipe looks tasty. I used to be a Correctional Officer in a maximum security prison. I was always astounded how creative convicts could be with ramen noodles, hot pots and random ingredients they were able to purchace fro their commisary. Some of their creations looked pretty good.
How fascinating! They are so inexpensive, they do they taste great and they cook in 3 minutes. College kids live on them…lol Happy Easter David!
Happy Easter to you too Diane. I hope you have a blessed weekend my friend.
Looks good.
Thanks Chris!
Asian cuisines are my fave besides Mexican lol. This one is so easy and all the ingredients are pretty affordable in my opinion
Oh yes so cheap and it makes a lot!
Way to elevate the boring Ramen.
Hahaha right! Thank you! Happy Easter!
Happy Easter to you, too, Diane!

Cool ramen, great idea 👍
This looks DEE-LISH – filling but not too heavy. This is another one of your recipes that I’ve bookmarked – and thanks!
Thanks! I really LOVED this recipe!
I have never had a package of Ramen Noodles – I must be the only one in the world to claim this.
You live such a sheltered life! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
🙂 Most college students lived on Ramen noodles to save money, but I commuted to college (Wayne State U) so lived and ate at home.
Oh I bet this is delish!
It tasted amazing Erica. I will definitely be making it again! Thanks!
