Easy Blueberry Pie
Fresh or Frozen Blueberries are delicious in this Easy Blueberry Pie! What a great dessert this would be for Easter. I have two Blueberry bushes that give me so many berries every year. I freeze the Blueberries because I could never eat them as fast as they ripen. That way I can make desserts like this one any time of the year.

i like how simple this sounds and delicious it looks
Right and if you buy a refrigerated pie crust it is made up in no time at all. I never liked pre-made crusts. Then last year I tried one (that I think was Pillsbury) in a box in the refrigerated section at the grocery store. I swear it was the easiest crust I ever worked with and tasted great.
Worth trying for sure
Oh! Looks yum. Must try it.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! 💕
Yum, can’t wait to try this one!
Thanks you can’t go wrong with blueberries!
So beautiful!!!!
Thank you Valerie blueberries are amazing!
Shall try.<3<3<3
Enjoy one of my favorites!
Must be great.<3
I’m thinking Summer here!
Oh yeah!
I love pies so much. It my favourit since I was a kid of 6 years old. So many years passed but I still love various flavors of them since I love them in my childhood days. Keep sharing.
Thanks for sharing your memory! There is nothing like a good homemade pie! Have a great weekend Sumit!
you have blueberry bushes, lucky you! I need to ask if you have any other kind of fruit growing out in the back?
We have rhubarb, raspberries, cherry tree, strawberries and mulberries. We just cut down 3 apple trees and have taken down 2 peach trees, plum tree, sour cherry tree and nectarine tree because they were very old and not producing. We have a large garden for vegetables and I also grow herbs and dehydrate them.
Oh now your just making me jealous! No wonder your ingredients all look so great!
That wood would of been beautiful to burn! Fruit trees make great fire wood and some even put out colours!
We made a deal with our neighbor if he cut them down he could have the wood. He wanted it for his smoker and we didn’t want the work! We took all the others down though. They weren’t as big.
of ya,smoking with fruit trees is excellent! Cherry is the best!
Yam, Looks great. 🙂
Thank you blueberries are on of my favorites and so good for you!
Do you have any recipes for pie crusts? I have tried in the past making it and it was always a disaster, and I have yet to find any storemade crust I like….but then I am comparing those to my mothers. She used Crisco, but it always made my face break out like clockwork!
Hi Joni! Unfortunately I use Cisco too. This is my favorite pie crust recipe that always seems to turn out for me. I know it won’t help but maybe you could try a different brand instead of Crisco? http://indianeskitchen.com/2018/02/09/pie-crust
Thanks Diane. I tried making it with butter once and it didn’t turn out….I over worked it and it was hard as a rock. I think pastry is an art form that requires lots of experience. I have noticed that now that my mother doesn’t make it very often, hers is not as good as when she was churning out 3 pies per week for our large family.
Oh my you were one lucky child growing up!
Well I grew up on a farm, and my dad and brothers did a lot of physical work and he loved to eat and never gained a pound. My mother is/was an excellent cook, as in her early married years she had to feed the threshing crews at harvest time, basic farm cooking. We had different deserts every week, pies, tarts, cakes, nobody worried about cholesterol back then. My sister loved to cook too, but I didn’t seem to inherit that gene! The thing with apple crisp is you don’t have to worry about the pastry. The lights just flickered off here – I hope the hydro doesn’t go out with the snowstorm – crazy snow on March 30th!
Oh no! We are suppose to get up to 5″ of snow by Sunday morning. Stay warm & safe!

PS. Thanks, for the suggestion – I will try a different brand than Crisco. You’d think at my age I wouldn’t be getting zits, but it happens so often with pastry, that I have learned to avoid it, but I do love a piece once in awhile.
I hope you figure it out! Everyone deserves a good piece of pie once in a while!
Actually I just finished making your apple crisp tonight Diane! It’s tomorrow’s dessert, but I stole a little corner piece – very delicious! I had some spy apples I needed to use up or throw out soon.
Thank you so much for telling me! I only post recipes I love but everyone has different tastes. It makes blogging so worth it when I know somebody enjoyed it as much as I do.
I have a whole file of your recipes that I have printed off, so when I looked at the apples I thought of it. I have made apple crisp before, but liked the idea of the bottom crust, and yours has the flour in the topping as well. We are having turkey today, as it is still winter, so I thought it would be a nice wintery dessert! We only got a couple of inches of snow, but it’s not melting, so it must be cold out.
Oh that is my favorite Apple Crisp! We cut our trees down last fall because they were just too old. 😒 Guess I will have to buy apples now. We lucked out as well and only got 1-2 inches. One county south and one county east got the 4-5 inches so we just missed it!
I have to say the apples were not very juicy, but they were left over from fall and a bit dried out, but with some vanilla ice cream, an excellent dessert. Spring can come any time now…..
Wow I have never been able to keep apples that long. Ice cream fixes everything! 🤣😂🤣😂
Wow.. Looks delicious..
Thank you! ❤
Yum, yum…my mouth is watering. 🙂 Hugs
Thanks Mags! Blueberries are SO good!
I love this blueberry pie – especially with the blueberries bursting through the crust! I remember you saying you had a freezer of blueberries!
Yes I sure do. I have never been able to eat them all and usually end up throwing some out! How sad is that!
Oh that is sad…. But I can imagine you have so many that it is hard to use all of them.
Wow! It’s beautiful! I wish I had a blueberry bush lol.
Thank you they are about 25 years old now.
That’s amazing!!!
ohh woww they are looking cool , this is such a great idea.
Thanks it tasted pretty darn good! I love blueberries.
