Caramel Sauce
Who knew you can make this easy Caramel Sauce just by boiling water? I have wanted to try this method for years but I never thought it would work. Let me be the first to tell you……it really does work and it’s delicious!

Oh wow, I’d never heard of doing it this way! I want to try but I’m kind of scared about boiling a can..
I was the same way. I kept thinking it would explode..lol But all you are doing is simmering the water. The can was sealed with a pressure cooker, no where near the same pressure. Not only was it a interesting process, but the taste of the caramel was fabulous! Do give it a try it was fun!

It was so much fun. I didn’t think it would work and the taste was the best caramel sauce!
It does look good, and quite simple to do, but I feel slightly worried about trying it in case the tin explodes from the heat.
I was so paranoid of the same thing. But it is only cooking at a simmer and they had to pressure cook it to seal and it didn’t explode. It worked perfectly. Give it a try Jo it tasted so good!
I think I will – it does sound delicious. I think it would be perfect as a sauce for some real Devon ice-cream! (Devon is a county in the south of the UK famous for lovely dairy products.)

Wow – I have only used the Hershey’s squirt – used to put it in coffee sometimes.
