If you love Cheeseburgers then try this delicious Cheeseburger Pie. I made mine in a cast iron pan but it is supposed to go into a 9” pie plate. I like using my cast iron pan because it goes from the burner to the oven which means less clean up!

  1. It takes a very creative chef to create this amazing recipe! I’ve never even thought of a cheeseburger pie! I’ll have to try this sometime.
Also sorry I haven’t been on wordpress in a while, I guess that’s life huh?

    • You’re welcome Lilly! I thought it was great tasting when I made it but today I had leftovers for lunch. I drizzled Siracha sauce over the top and holy cow was that delicious!

  2. I make something similar quite often! We love it with mustard, ketchup and homemade dill pickles on the side. Next time, I’m going to try it in the cast iron skillet. Thanks for a great idea!

  3. The recipe looks delicious and something a family can enjoy together. Making it all in the cast iron pan makes it even better for a weekday family dinner. Thanks for the recipe Diane

  4. That looks yummy, Diane. I have my mother’s cast iron skillet and I used to use it for so many dishes. We remodeled the kitchen in 2015 and decided to “upgrade” to a ceramic stovetop. I guess I should have done more research. I didn’t learn until it was too late that you can’t use cast iron (or a canner) on a ceramic stovetop. Fortunately, my canning days are over, but I miss using the cast iron skillet. I still make cornbread in it, since that only requires an oven.

    • Before I dropped a can on my new glass top and broke it, I used my cast iron pans. I made sure I didn’t move the pan so it didn’t slide and was very careful to set it down gently. Threw away my new glass top and went back to my old burner style, only now they put this sensor in the middle of the burner that automatically turns the heat off and on. It has messed up so many of my recipes. I’m hoping to remodel in a couple years and I will buy a gas stove!
