Slow Cooker General Tso’s Chicken
General Tso’s Chicken is one of my favorite ways to eat chicken. Chicken prepared in a slow cooker is so tender. Add this delicious homemade sauce, a vegetable and some rice and you have a delicious meal!

I’m so glad I saw this before I finished my grocery list!
Lol perfect timing!
Sounds delicious 😁👌
Thanks!
That looks fantastic, Diane! I bet it makes the house smell great. ;D
Oh yes I love cooking in the slow cooker not only for the taste but the wonderful smells! Thank you Jennifer!
You are making me hungry Diane! I’m putting this recipe in my February menu for the fam. Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome! I hope they enjoy it as much as we did!
My kids have recently started liking Asian food, and we are slow cooker loves around here. 😀
Kids love chicken don’t they! I can’t believe they love Asian food my grandkids keep telling me it’s too spicy…lol
They tend to go for stuff that is sweet (orange chicken is a favorite) with less spice. But they eat pizza with diced jalapenos, so I guess it depends. 😉
OMG that’s crazy they like jalapenos! Can never figure kids out! lol
mouthwatering chicken!
Thanks!
My kids love General Tso chicken. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. 😊
You’re very welcome!
I love General Tso Chicken.
Did you know it isn’t Chinese? I read it was named after a General Tso and created in Taiwan. Regardless it is SO good! Thanks!
I had no idea.
With rice? Great!
Oh yes then you put the sauce over the rice…yum!
You make a believer in me that I should get a slow cooker.
You would love it, you can’t mess it up and the food is always so good!
I am going to get one for sure Diane – I’ll wait til I retire so I can try different things til I get the hang of it – I guess I could do it on weekends for now. Do you feel comfortable leaving it on during the day for long periods of time?
Yes I always leave mine on and if you buy a new one you won’t have any problems. They are wonderful!
That’s good to know Diane – I remember when my neighbor left her slow cooker on and burnt the motor out – she found it when she returned hone at the end of the day.- this was years ago and I think she had not put water in it if I remember correctly.
Thank you!
