I love this recipe because it can be made the day before you need it then just add the dressing about an hour before you serve it. It is a fabulous potluck, picnic, family or entertaining pasta salad.

      • Yes, and always cold … chicken breast cubed up and the Eckrich stadium sausage, just thick slices – could use a dish of it right now! I walked a lot today and my oatmeal was in my toes by the time I got home – I am hungry again!

      • When my mom was still alive, we went out to eat but we have such a problem with Hepatitis A that I am reluctant to eat out – the problem is with employees not washing their hands properly and handling food for the most part. It is so bad that the States of Indiana and Ohio told their residents to get a Hepatitis vaccine before venturing into Michigan. I lost track how many deaths, or long-term hospitalizations, but when I got my flu shot in September I asked how much it was for the Hep A shot – it is not covered by insurance. It was $105.00 for each installment – there are two installments. I said “wow – well maybe not” … so I’ve not been out to eat in a while. I have to go to Reader later, but your pizza in a cast iron pan intrigued me … that is the one item that I miss … pizza, but I won’t order one due to this outbreak. https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/2018/05/27/michigan-hepatitis-outbreak-vaccination-food-workers/632526002/

      • It’s pretty scary Diane and I understood that Ohio and Indiana Tourism Boards advertised Michigan as the big Hep A state. On Labor Day weekend, some guy had Hep A and worked in a diner. Everyone who ate in the diner were told to get tested … not only that … the same guy went to the Renaissance Festival that weekend. So everyone who attended both Saturday and Sunday were told they had 14 days to get tested, or a Hep A Part 1 shot, unless she had already had the vaccine. This was not just for people who ATE there, but also for people who even touched any surfaces, used the bathroom because they did not know what this guy touched. Very scary. And it is happening

  1. Do they make low-carb pasta? Asking for a friend…just kidding. 😉 I love, love, love pasta. And pasta salad is quick and easy, budget-friendly, and filling. I’ll have to give this recipe a go!

    Happy Belated New Year, Diane!
