No Bake Cookies are my son’s favorite cookie. Making these cookies is about as easy as it gets. They cook in a saucepan on top of the stove then you drop them by spoonfuls onto waxed paper and let them set.

Below is the link to my step by step directions with pictures and a printable recipe card.

  1. I make these every year to rave reviews. I find they freeze well too. If they get too dried out, I zap one in the microwave for about 10 seconds to warm it up which makes it even better!

  2. Thank you Diane – the oven burned the last batch of cookies I made 9 years ago. They were those cute little Valentine slice-and-bake cookies and they all burned. Twasn’t my fault … I took them off the cardboard and placed them onto the cookie sheet like I was supposed to. 🙂

      • I’ve forgotten most of it, but I remember there was butter (of course), cocoa (that’s all I remember). We (my younger brother and I) had to make two batches – one with the cocoa and one lot without so that one batch looked like dark chocolaty mixture and one white. Then we had to either roll both mixtures together or use bits from both batches to make multi-coloured biscuits.
I’ll try to find the recipe and if I can find it, I will send it to you.

      • I realised I had made a mistake – I was getting confused with other biscuits which required baking. I really am very sorry!
Said brother and I HAVE MADE NO BAKE FOOD BEFORE, I had just gotten some recipes confused in my memory by accident.
        I am so, so sorry.

  3. Ah! My mother used to make these when I was a kid. She’d whip up these cookies, then spend the rest of the day telling us we’d Had Enough.

Happy Holidays to you and yours, Diane, and best wishes to you for 2019! 🙂
