My husband gave me a break today and made the grandkids and myself homemade Italian Meatballs with spaghetti. He even did all of the dishes! This week just gets better and better! They tasted very good and were easy to make. He baked them in the oven and then simmered them in the spaghetti sauce…fabulous!

  1. Perfect timing! One of my boys only recently started trying new foods, and it turns out he’s a meat and pasta lover (as long as it’s simple). Meatballs are high on his list, and I’ve been meaning to look for a meatball recipe. 😀

      • Actually there’s no difference in the cooking, it’s exactly the same just with different ingredients. Like if you aren’t a fan of frozen premade “meat” balls then there are super super simple & cheap homemade recipes online to swap with your current one; As for the dairy products the vegan ones are store bought and to be used just the same as the non vegan versions, usually more affordable and always more healthy and safer than animal products.

      • Definitely a health benefit. I don’t buy too much processed food but we do buy a side of beef every year. I think my husband would divorce me if I changed the way I cook. I admire that you eat so healthy!

      • Omg haha well hopefully he isn’t just with you for the food.. But don’t be a stranger if you’re looking to change up your recipes! I’m in the process of creating some comfort type meals and this has definitely inspired me.

  2. My grandkids love pasta, so this would be a hit when they come for dinner. Looks easy and tasty. I have never mixed beef and sausage for meatballs, but I can see how this would give them a great taste.
