Baked Fish
I grew up fishing for Perch and that’s what I cooked today. I don’t make a lot of healthy meals but this isn’t too bad. The breading is only on the top side of the fish and they bake in just 10 minutes without all that grease from frying but you still get the wonderful flavor of the breading.
Ingredients
Line a large baking sheet with
foil and spray with cooking oil.
In a shallow bowl or plate,
add the dry ingredients.
Mix dry ingredients together.
Brush melted butter on the skin side of a fillet.
Immediately place buttered skin
side into the crumb mixture but
do not coat the other side of the fillet.
Place the fillet, skin side up, onto
the foil covered baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes in a
preheated 500 degree oven
one shelf above the middle shelf.
Place on a serving plate
and serve immediately.

Love baked fish, and perch is fabulous. 💖💖💖
I have eaten and caught more perch than I can count. I love fishing but no longer have a boat. It’s crazy what they charge for them!
As per usual, this recipe looks incredible! What are some other seafood dishes you like?
Anything with shrimp, scallops, crab, lobster, mussels……….fish is the only one I can’t eat much of unless it is smoked…lol I love smoked fish!

I like fish, but don’t eat nearly enough of it. I’ll try this – it’s simple, and may tempt me to more of the good stuff.
I absolutely love fish. Thanks for the recipe I need to try this especially as part of my weight loss journey!
Looks good Diane. My parents were not fish eaters so we rarely had fish and when we did it was salmon croquettes.
Now THAT looks delicious!
